The whole point of this episode was that you still have to choose a side. Geralt literally couldn’t choose to do nothing, if he did he was still making a choice to do one do one of the evils

I have a dear friend who left us on May 7, 2023. He had a deep appreciation for music, and this was the last genre he listened to and cherished. He was a kind and gentle soul, but during his toughest times, life could make him cruel. He faced his battles alone, and it saddens me that I couldn't do more to help him. Witnessing his passing was a heart-wrenching experience, and he left a void in all our lives. The first thing I was going to ask was how you create such an amazing sound, then as I watched further I see you have footage of your midi recordings. I would like to commend you on your orchestration. It sounds so full and amazing. I have wanted to try something orchestral too, but although I've recording for a few years, the midi side of recording is still unknown to me for the most part. Your vocalist for this song is amazing also. Just to mention it, I also covered this song vocally and would love for you to check it out and give me your opinion on my rendition. Ah! THIS is the version I've been looking all over TH-cam for!
It's really good, and beyond what I expected for sure. You should definitely be proud of what you've done here, as it exceeds what any other composer has to offer this cover in this genre. Though if you'd allow me a brief criticism, I'd like to offer some. I've been a musician as a hobby for 13 years, and I personally felt some of the dynamics and timbre were a bit thin and restricted to the source material. I understand the original has these, but it doesn't translate that well directly into epic orchestral in my opinion. You really did a phenomenal job in the verses, but I feel that you somewhat lost that in the chorus (or 'hook'). It felt somewhat abrasive and too concussive, especially when preceded by moments of pause. It Was just a little jarring, in an otherwise excellent piece. Maybe some quiet arpeggios from the strings in those pauses would've served to created a more fluid experience? Well done to you, and I'm definitely subscribing for more.
My compliments go all on you and your awesome work. You realized what many of us want to hear when the serie came out. Keep going with your good work. Some ideas about the witcher themes: "her sweet kiss" and "the song of the white wolf" both with voices and a big EPIC instrumental mash with these two (if you think they can fit each other). Can this work for you?
