I was at this game. I was yelling non-stop from beginning to end. I could not hear my own voice most of the game. We were all over that Sonics team to will the Utah Jazz to the blowout victory. We all felt we should have won that series in 6 games or less. John Stockton said he was 100% but I believe he had a very hurt right elbow that hampered his ability to shoot well in the first 4 games of that series. Normally he would have shot a higher percentage and made more 3's and we would have at least won Game 4 and thus at this Game 6 it should have been over. Awesome series no matter what! Utah Jazz vs. Seattle Sonics!
That’s awesome. Stockton is one of my favorite players and it was clear he wasn’t healthy in this series. His jump shot was horrible because of the elbow. I agree that had he been healthy, the Jazz make it to the finals three years in a row
i'm still NOT certain why but the 1996 conference finals had the sonics win 4-3 over the jazz and the bulls win 4-0 over the magic including the 118-83 game six win by the jazz and the 121-83 game one win by the bulls and even the game one 102-72 win by the sonics game three win if i'm right being 96-76 by the jazz and game three 86-67 win by the bulls over the magic
