  • Eggless Swiss meringue buttercream
I didn’t know that it was possible to make an eggless Swiss meringue, that tastes like the real deal. I don’t know if many people know that the liquid from chick peas, could be used like this. I was so excited with this recipe- when I saw the Aquafaba whipped into amazing peaks I was so amazed, but when I saw and tasted the end result- I wanted to jump and and down for joy 🥳😊- I actually did- I got butterflies in my stomach with the excitement ha ha !
Whoever came up with the original recipe- I want to commend them- I wish I knew who they were!

Best instructions I've seen to date!! I need help troubleshooting tho. 😢 I added the butter after I got the modt beautiful peaks and it all went completely flat. Totally liquid. What can I do at this point? I'm using a hand held electric mixer since that's all I have at home.

Been mixing for a while now. It gets foamy but that's about all. 😢

Ahhh thank you so much. So sorry to hear this! I wonder if you added the butter too quickly….you really should add a little at a time….. did you re try the recipe ?

Hello, thank you for watching and so sorry for the late response. Yes it is 200g of butter, a mistake in the video which I hadn’t noticed…thanks for pointing it out! This can definitely be done with a hand mixer, but it will take longer to achieve the results. All the best. X
