The Quite Universal Circuit Simulator package

Doug Reece, AK4AO, demonstrates the use of the open source QUCS (for Quite Universal Circuit Simulator) package, which can be found at qucs.sourceforg.... Computer simulation software can predict the behavior of an electronic circuit. Designers can use simulations to test and refine their designs before building, and students can experiment without having to invest in parts, tools, and lab equipment.

I like the ability to have polar Cartesian and Smith Charts. Is there a way to model a DC motor. This circuit simulation software would be great to simulate Control Systems especially Servo or Motor Control.

The problem of the program is the built in library. So you have to build it your self with discrete components or a data-file.

unzip it and look for quacs and click and waith wil pop out

It is similar to Touchstone and Libra from Aglient, but this will cost you 20 000 dollar and 2 000 a year. And you cant even spell.
