Hey Chaps - the Legion is £100 cheaper and definitely gets my recommendation!
    LEGION from £699 (12 + 256GB)
    ROG from £799 (12 + 256GB)

@@jeffthegamerboy3476 Dude use the Legion 1 game frequently and create content, no doubt with 2 Type-C inputs you can charge your phone and use headphones at the same time, now you can do everything because there is always a type C input left, the Cell phone comes with the adapter is just plugged into your favorite earphone, in which case it is definitely not necessary to have a headphone jack

I own the ROG Phone 2 with the Kunai Gamepad... and I would say that ASUS has really did a good job on integrating their Controller along with the Touch input of the device... I have been playing Genshin Impact and PUBG from quite sometime and I have been using the left analog stick for movement /running/walking simultaneously controlling the camera perspective/aiming/looking around with the touch screen of the phone and ASUS has really managed to make them work the same time. Aiming with the touch and pulling the trigger or casting a skill using the controller makes it closer to a mouse and keyboard setup

There is nothing new about the nubia phone. It's just another gaming phone with specs thrown in the wall to see what sticks. It's got a 30w charger in the box not a 120w charger. The cooler is not part of the phone, integrated into the design. It's not even a standard part the accessory kit. Innovation shud be respected. Price and specs is not all that shud matter.

Hello Thomas! New subscriber here. Great comparison reviews. I’ve researched the ROG 5 and it looks like you cannot use the 2 USB-C ports simultaneously; the side port takes precedence. Which is why I’m attracted to the Lenovo Duel 2. Wanted to upgrade from an iPhone 8 Plus which barely gets me through the day battery-wise. I also wanted to use the 2 USB-C ports to fly my DJI Mini 2 Drone, while having my Epson Moverio BT-40 Smartglasses plugged into the side port which supports video. The bottom port would be connected to my DJI Remote Controller while I run the DJI FLY app on the phone. Hopefully, both USB-C devices can work simultaneously. What do you think Thomas? And do you have a link to the Lenovo Duel 2 Phone tech support?

Hi, I'm really interestet in the rear camera quality. The Omnivision OV64A sensor in the Legion should compare to some of the top Cameraphones? On paper it should be one of the greatest sensors right now? I hope you can share a deeper thought about the photo/video performance. Is it really just a midrange photo/video experience, or is it actually great? Thanks :-D

Hi ... Thanks for such a nice deep comparison of both the phones ...
    I m a bit inclined towards ROG ...
but still I wanted to ask that if i don't use that cooling fan accessory how much the temp can rise on Rog comparing to legion ...
Another question is about the headphone jack missing on legion ...
Wud bluetooth headphone can with stand with the audio delay issue I mean just wanted to know are there any with legion or may be if asking for both...
There are some minor delays in few ms in general with Bluetooth headphone ... So wud it be experienced in both these phones or not

In general, for music and videos, Bluetooth earphones are not an issue in most smartphones. But when it comes to gaming, there will definitely be some delay despite having different bluetooth audio codec. I know this because I've tested a lot of wireless headphones and android phones. All of this is due to sofware, hardware, and optimization.
Long story short, never go for wireless earphones/headphones on android if you plan on gaming. Only iPhones can do that.

for the selfie cam, hands down the ROG has better audio. the legion sounds very hollow and "speaker phone" like. The ROG sounded like you were using a headset. I think the legion is cool in that the fan is built in, but that makes it quite bulky and imagine quite difficult to get a case for. after all, it is STILL a phone and should be able to fit in your pocket. i think i'm gonna stick with the ROG, though with as hard as it is to find right now, I was really hoping the legion would win me over

The Legion comes with a C cable adaptor for a headphone jack. And considering you can charge from its other port and from the wall instead of charging the battery the legion is the winner for me.
As I go look for a loan at the bank to buy it.

Having now seen the price it's definitely got to be the Legion although I would love to know if you can use the USB port on the side to connect to a monitor which I know you can do on the rog (well you can on the 3 anyway). I am slightly concerned about videos I've seen about how easy it is to snap both of them in half but I'm still going to get one.

OK, so a question: A final point that decides which one of these i'll buy is whether that bump on the back of Lenovo Legion gets in the way if i played a game that requires me to put the phone on a desk and play with index fingers, like many rhythm games. Would the phone slide / spin around? And if it does, is there a way around this, like using a case or putting sometihng under the phone? I really need to know before i decide.

Tough call, got the Lenovo, the ROG 5 and the Red Magic 6 all duking it out for my credit card's attention. Leaning towards getting the Red Magic 6, but the phone's UI is it's achilles heel that kind of takes away some style points.
