    Please suggest some links for the gaming and bartender jobs.

    • @CanDBawa
      @CanDBawa  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi,
      There are a lot of ways to apply for these jobs.
      The simplest way is finding an advertisement online, on sites like seek.com.au or indeed and applying online.
      But, unless you have experience in a similar role it’s very hard to get a job this way.
      To get your chances up of getting a job, you need to go to different venues during the day, when the manager is working and hand over your resume personally.
      The best option is to find a recommendation from a friend who might be working at the venue you want to get a job at.
      Hope this helps.
      Good luck :)

      And getting a PR for any medical professional is super easy.

    Hey, I am coming to pursue my Master's in finance in Melbourne. I want to know about the job prospects?And I'm also confused between Deakin, RMIT and Swinburne can you please suggest me ...
    And does University matters in Australia?

    • @CanDBawa
      @CanDBawa  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Malvika,
      There are enough jobs available in the financial sector. Getting a full time job can be hard for international students but most students find a job within 6 months of graduating.
      I’ll be uploading a video this week on how to get a full time job before graduating. Do watch that as I’m discussing this in detail.
      And among these 3 universities, I would recommend:
      1)RMIT 2)Swinburne 3) Deakin
      University doesn’t really matter while getting a job, but it does play a role in shaping you for that job market, better universities have better student services etc.
      But, the 3 universities you have mentioned are among the good ones. :)
      Good luck.
      And if you have any other questions feel free to reach out to me on Instagram: can.d_yt

    Hi,
    I'm a software developer in India having 5 years of experience. I want to come to Australia to pursue my MS. So could you help me to understand the IT jobs there? or any certification that needs to have before looking into a job.

    • @CanDBawa
      @CanDBawa  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Harpal,
      Certifications really don’t matter much. If you are skilled in what you do, there are even part time opportunities in the IT industry.
      IT job market in Australia is huge, there is a shortage of skilled IT workers and IT occupations have always been on the Skilled Occupations List(SOL).
      I have friends who worked part time as software developers and data analysts for major banks while they were studying and got a full time offer as soon as they completed their degree.
      So, if you know what you are doing and you can convince the employer that you are a good fit for the particular job then you’ll get in for sure. :)
      Hope it helps, good luck.

      Hey man,
      Unfortunately I don’t work in the gaming industry anymore.
      The duties are simple, I’ll try to include some here:
      1. Paying out customers (cash, cheques etc)
      2. Bartending
      3. Making coffee/tea
      4. Handling TAB/KENO (sports-betting)
      5. Refilling gaming machines with coins
      6. Fixing errors on machines
      7. Closing the venue and cash counting (removing cash from all the machines and putting that in the save after counting and bundling) etc etc.
      It is a fun job and most of the places have a chill environment.
      Can get a little busy on weekends etc but overall it’s pretty easy.

      Hey brother,
      Every state here has its pros and cons.
      It all depends on your preferences.
      Victoria and NSW and not very easy places to get PR.
      Queensland has amazing tropical weather.
      Other states have their own USPs.
      And once you come here, you’ll adjust to the life here pretty soon. So don’t worry about that.

    Hi Karanveer. Firstly, I would like to Thank you for sharing the helpful information. Dil se shukriya.
    But, mera ek question hai, dab log apne vlog mein bolte hain, ke respond karenge, lekin karte nahi hain.
    But still, can you please make an another video on the things that a student needs to be prepared of before coming to Australia which nobody tells them. Like,
    1. 21,041 AUD of funds to be furnished which has to be 3 months old in bank statements for granting student visa
    2. OHSC health cover 1138 AUD.
    3. You have shared some great tips for earning more, but how much an international student need to survive in Adelaide?
    4. How difficult is to get a driver’s license? And how far will have to travel for university and job?

    • @CanDBawa
      @CanDBawa  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey mate,
      You are welcome. :)
      1. These funds need to be shown as a proof that you can survive in Australia the first year you come here without any support.
      If you have secured a bank loan for education, then these funds are not mandatory.
      2. Every temporary resident is required to have a health insurance as healthcare is very expensive in Australia. OHSC is completely worth the money as if anything happens to your health then it will take care of everything.
      3. Getting a car license is not hard if you know how to drive, you just need to follow the rules during the test. And there are plenty of jobs available in all major cities including Adelaide.
      People prefer to live near to where they work but public transportation is very reliable and efficient.

    Hi Karanveer really informative and helpful video. I am currently in class 12 and i am planning to come to Australia after my 12 to pursue BBA. I want to know what are the minimum marks required to get into an Australian university, only class 12 marks are required or we have to submit 10,11 marks also, do they offer scholarships to international students and what are the basis on which they offer it and how can i finance my studies, will it be possible to manage my monthly expenses along with university fees while working a part-time job?
    If possible please make a video on Australia after 12 covering all the above topics, it will be really helpful for students who are planning to go to Australia after 12.

    • @CanDBawa
      @CanDBawa  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Taha,
      Scholarships in Australia are very hard to grab, you need to amazing credentials for any chance of a scholarship.
      And try to aim for at least 70% in your class 12 exams and getting a university in Australia should not be a problem.
      I’ll say that you can easily earn enough to manage your living expenses but it can be hard to pay your fees as well while studying.
      The jobs you get after graduation, pay very well and paying back any loan you might have is easy.
