Gate Key-pers gets way too much hate. I mean, a lot of the other showdown minigames have broken advantages (namely DK's) and yet, you didn't even bring those up at all. Also what does "the puzzles are boring" mean exactly? I tried so many times to try and play Radical Race properly, but I just can’t, no matter how many times I try. If the controls were a lot better, then I’d rank it higher. But since the controls are complete garbage, it’s easily my least favorite minigame in the entire game. The 5 minigames in Super Mario Party Jamboree I find to be the worst which I would have a hard time winning even against easy CPUs once I experience them are: - Hot Cross Blocks (I don't like the mechanic of picking the same choice as anyone picked.) - Gate Key-pers (You don't know which key for which door is correct.) - Lost and Pound (Kinda unfair for the solo player since there's a chance that the rival team can pick the same hole to hit the solo player 2 or 3 times in a round.) - Stone-Eye Bowling (I'm not used to finding where to aim when there are obstacles that will mess me up.) - Sleight of Shell (I don't like it when the shuffling goes faster making it harder for me to keep track of which choice I'm trying to go for.)
Blame It on the Crane is absolutely unbalanced, but it's the opposite. I've literally never seen the 1 player win. The balls can easily rush while the crane is going down so that it's practically impossible to catch them. Also, I'll echo other people's thoughts. There's no way a basic button-mashing minigame can be number one. That's a mechanic so uninteractive that one can win it without even looking at the screen.
I have to agree what were they thinking with gate keypers 😂 that minigame is so bad whenever my family plays we have a spoken rule to not play gate keypers
I understand, but that minigame is way overhated, it actually requires a small bit of skill in having to pay attention to every combination that’s been used. Now if you wanna talk about a trash minigame, how about Get a Rope from Mario Party 5?
@samisthebest6991 yea there is truth to that it is just awful to play and yea have to agree get a rope is also horrible if you couldn't tell I am not a big fan of luck based games bowsers big blast does it right though
While I enjoy the concept of gate keepers, there is too much luck involved. Now, if they put it split screen with everyone having to unlock all three doors the fastest, it could have been much better. This would be assuming they made it so it wasn't all 4 people having the same keys unlock each door to avoid screen peeking.

There are 60 possible combinations of keys and doors in super mario party jamboree, even after you get the first one in 5 tries it can still be 12 different combinations for the last 2 doors
@@tijmendr9006 ok you got me stuck for a minute I couldn't realise what is not working lol but I get what you're doing wrong lol. It's 60 different combinations, if you want to open all 3 doors at the same time. But since we just need to open only 1 of those doors in the first round, it's just we have 5 keys with each of them having 3 different doors to try to open with. So 5x3 we just have 15 combinations. But yeah if we wanted all the 3 doors to open immediately then the combinations would be 60
@@Jordan-pu7on yeah i know i was just saying at the start of the gane there are 60 combinations of doors and keys that are possible, without trying anything and guessing then all at once without keeping in mind rhe result of trying to open the previous door. I loved all mini games in this game but Dorrie Paddle Battle, and Gate Key pers are by far the worst mini games I've had to deal with especially in story mode.
Snow ball one feels WAY too hard for the 1 player whenever we play it... also, I'd say the Bowser Jr jamboree game is better if it wasn't too easy (when we play it, the player with the 3 point bonus wins almost every time because they don't drop 3 rounds) also I REALLY need to stop always playing waluigi, because I've never done his jamboree game last point, I would be more receptive to the button mashing games (like domination) if my younger brother wasn't stupidly good at them lol
I think the reason that Domination is number one is not the sheer fun you get from mashing a single button as many times as you can. It actually challanges you to try to beat your own score. Think about it. We as humans are competitive creatures, not just against others, but against ourselves. We always want to do better then how we did before at a certain activity. Domination pokes that primal urge to be the best, even if its just beating our own high score.
Yeah, I don't like Gate Keypers, Dorrie Pedal Paddle, Tricky Turntable, Lost and Pound, arch rivals, hot cross blocks, sunset standoff, stone eyed bowling, on again off again, snow brawl, or waluigi's pinball arcade. Some of them i absolutely despise like Gate Keypers, Tricky Turntable, Lost and Pound, Arch Rivals, Hot Cross Blocks, Sunset Standoff, Stone eyed bowling, and Waluigi's pinball arcade all feel like they have little skill and more luck. Snow Brawl is pretty bad in party planner trek since if YOU get hit even once it's all over, On again off again seems more fun to play as the team, and Dorrie Pedal Paddle like the controls are bad like the instructions and the motion example pretty much lies to you. Trample-line can also be hectic if people jump on your head causing you to fall onto a horned ant trooper.
slappy go round being anything but bottom 10 is absurd literally not jumping is unbeatable also think tricky turntable is the worst minigame in the game aside from gate keypers, takes 3 minutes, the first 4 rounds do not matter at all, gives out barely any money, worthless minigame honestly the minigames in this game are kinda lackluster, pretty nice that the boards are so great to make up for it tho
coming from superstars, jamboree is a flop. pacing is too slow…20 turn parties went from 90 mins to 150 mins…so many of the mini games are not imaginative. other modes are cringey and feel like a baby game. send it back in the mail!
most of the time the cpus have god skill in party trek and get a ton of points while you are stuck getting low points and i bet the bloop that blinds does nothing to the cpus since they arent humans

I loved all mini games in this game but Dorrie Paddle Battle, and Gate Key pers are by far the worst mini games I've had to deal with especially in story mode.
Snow ball one feels WAY too hard for the 1 player whenever we play it... also, I'd say the Bowser Jr jamboree game is better if it wasn't too easy (when we play it, the player with the 3 point bonus wins almost every time because they don't drop 3 rounds)
also I REALLY need to stop always playing waluigi, because I've never done his jamboree game
last point, I would be more receptive to the button mashing games (like domination) if my younger brother wasn't stupidly good at them lol
Hot cross blocks shouldn't be so high! The mechanic of not getting the pattern someone else picks is so stupid! I HAAAATE that minigame...
I really one as the three player group by doing absolutely nothing in blame it on the crane
Did you forget the eel boss
L rankings
Spikes mabit and wack a Monty mole would be a perfect ecsusse to get a spike and Monty mole jamboree buddy
I might be just being dumb but I don't remember seeing Wario's ally mini game here?
I thought the same. But it is there at #30. I had to go back and find it myself.
Yes
slappy go round being anything but bottom 10 is absurd
literally not jumping is unbeatable
also think tricky turntable is the worst minigame in the game aside from gate keypers, takes 3 minutes, the first 4 rounds do not matter at all, gives out barely any money, worthless minigame
honestly the minigames in this game are kinda lackluster, pretty nice that the boards are so great to make up for it tho
My controller doesn't even pick up the moving i do in dorry petal pattle
So what’s her name
Grinite getaway and lumber tumble are my bottom 10, its free coins its broken too easy and not fun
I hate the button masher lol
I disagree in so many ways hahaha
Lol when I clicked on this video it had 112 likes.
112 likes in 2 hours? Bro fell off.
They are not allowed
Nintendo hates Mario party 8
NO NONO grnite getaway and lumber tumble SUCK everyone wins
This minigame package is so ehh
My dude copied Nathaniel B?!?!??!??!? (jk)
I dont like mashing minigames
Yikes lol
coming from superstars, jamboree is a flop. pacing is too slow…20 turn parties went from 90 mins to 150 mins…so many of the mini games are not imaginative. other modes are cringey and feel like a baby game. send it back in the mail!
Pinball at number 2????? LMAOOOOOOOO that mini game is god awful. Way to long, not enough bumpers, very generic its just shit and not fun
most of the time the cpus have god skill in party trek and get a ton of points while you are stuck getting low points and i bet the bloop that blinds does nothing to the cpus since they arent humans
please stop
