That was one of the most sonically interesting pieces of music I've ever heard! So different and unusual. The chord progression is just unlike anything I've ever heard before. It was so uncomfortable but fascinating at the same time! Don't take that as a bad thing, music should challenge and provoke, and this certainly does. I can't wait to hear the rest of this album. 4 songs I've heard now, and each is as different from the others as is possible.

That song was a masterpiece! Wow! It was so good I'm litterally shaking. This band is miles beyond anything out there these days. It's not even close.
This is so different and creative. I love it so far. This will be awesome live! The drumming reminded me of something that Niel Peart would pull off.
This one and Shoemaker are my favorites on the album, ending of Shoemaker is the best I've ever heard Floor sound

Kai on drumms - wau. He told in his interview that he couldn't play this song with his old drumm set. So he build a new set up for being able to play this song as it needed to be played. He actually added five more drumms on his left side. What a phenomenal drummer 😳👍

Love this song, Emppus´s guitar, Floors singing and then special is Kai´s drums. He already have a big drum kit, but it was not enough to this song, so he bought 5 new drum...!!! Just to be able play this one song! I would like to see his drum set now, how he will put them all!
And I liked this "skeleton dance", really surprised me, but was very fun add. Somehow Disney feeling, but in a good way.
The dancing skeletons kind of reminded me of the marching hammers in Pink Floyd's Another Brick In The Wall :-)

Don't know if it is in this song but they had MANY different percussions. In one song for example he used a plastic bag full of empty beer cans. Imagine all the work to create such an instrument :)

I love this song, the whole album is amazing but my favorite by far is Shoemaker, the end part gives me the shivers and made me cry the first time i heard it
My favorite of this album, by far. The drums are unbelieveable and guitar as well. The voice is INCREDIBLE!!! and the ending IS LIKE.. WHAT!!!!!! the lyrics.. ufff
The first bit reminds me of Sahara and Abaresque, then it takes off and gets totally different, the ape section is like the one on The Greatest Show on Earth with their sounds and growling, the dancing skeletons... Ehm... 😅 I knew you were gonna have a great time with this one lol this is one of my absolute favorites along with Pan and How's The Heart, such a headbanger of song

Awesome reaction, this is my favourite song, well so many great songs to choose from on this album I do love them all but this one is one I slightly prefer. I've never heard anything like it! I just love it, so much, and the dancing skeletons are so fitting :D
What you hear in these lyrics, you see in the video and hear in the music is what you feel in Floor’s expression. So if I’m right and understand the lyrics the right way it is not so unpredicteble anymore why she sings this way. Because the song talks about what is happening when we humans diverted into separated tribes again. Like in the dark ages. The outcome of interactions between different tribes shows many bloody wars like in some way still are between the “People from The Book”: (look at the book and multiple textures in the video) Abraham diverted into three: the Judes (Israël), the Christians and the Muslims (Islamic) all claiming to be “The Real Children of Abraham/Ibrahim”.

We see this multiple times happen in history in Africa, Northern America, Central Asia and the Middle East.

Also. I'm an old Nightwish fan and I love the transition. It's like life. You evolve and you get better, hopefully, as time goes on.
This made me think of Weak Fantasy. Not sure if that makes sense, but the theme seems similar to me.
And some say this new album is not metal. Well in my opinion it is no point to categorize Nightwish, they does not fit to any other genre than their own. This is amazing song, thanks for reaction!
Kai is a beast, but harmony vocals by Marko and Troy in this track are insane🥴
This song is a showcase for Kai how awesome drummer he is and naturally Tuomas to do this all.

Yeah. The songs definitely fits together like pushle pieces! The total is more than individual songs.
My favorite is still harvest. But when you hear it between others songs, it is even better. I am sure that other songs do the same to other listeners. Take you favorite ansasta listen it between it counterparts and it is even better!

I'm not ready to just on the ":masterpiece" bandwagon yet, but it is good. I like it, but it will require a few more listens to fully sink in, just like the rest of the album. There's some really interesting things going on in this song for sure. Cheers!

It is dirty, but in the best way possible. ;-) or even trashy and it seems that instrumentals are not purely instrumental; there are oooohs and aaaahs again and stuff like that

@@ollytherock7324 but songs from Nature are really beautiful - all sorts of instruments in different arrangements - Tuomas really outdid himself in terms of soundtrack-y music :-) the harp seems to be quite prominent on my first listening
I have not been listening to the whole album on repeat since I woke up, no sir 😜. I have to say, Harvest was not my favorite but, listening to it within the the whole album, it fits perferctly well. This, however, is going to be such a banger live...I´d better get in shape to headbang.
