I saved the money and finally received my own Paiste Masters Swish last week. After playing it for a week I can say that I love that cymbal. She responds to even the softest touch. If having feelings for a cymbal is wrong, then I don't want to be right!

A friend of mine bid on and won Bill Brufords Paiste Swish when Bruford was selling all his gear off. He never revealed how much he paid for it but I'm guessing MUCH dollar... totally worth it though 😁

I got out and repaired it, cost my $900 in parts from a wrecker and a solid day pulling it down and putting back together. He owed me another $1,800 in advances on gigs and his share of the money I had forked out for rehearsals, posters, and reskinning the snare.
Just the cost of doing business with some musicians. You just get on with your life.
