Sesi wa ka, I just want to find out, and not just necessarily with you only. Do you guys use any forms of contracts with your contractors or service providers? I speak from an engineer's perspective. You can actually hold liable your service providers, not just with the contracts but with the statutory bodies they fall under, such as ECSA for engineers and the likes of SACPCMP for contractors. Building with the NHBRC oversight is also beneficial to protect your rights and maintain some standards, with warranties in place. These should be at no cost to you the client, you just need for your contractors to be accredited accordingly so you have checks, and a piece of mind should something go off. For non-major things that you can afford to endure mishaps, then that's where you can support non-accredited persons. In the end, it's your money, your peace, and your expected quality that should drive your building process. Thank you for sharing your journey, and all the lessons. And yes, that Nyl plaza is useless, must just be the Sasol and leave us in peace.

Hey dear did your builder started from the first to finish or did you have to fire him and hire a new builder ? Because if the fire place is the main reason you don’t want to recommend him then that’s not fair . We have bad contractors out there . I think you should give him a grace
I said the fire place was 1 of the reasons I don’t recommend him. We had to beg and threaten him to get to the finish line and also got other people to fix the other mistakes as he was not willing to
