Hi Alain. In the sentence Ik zie het boek I use het because the book is het word. If there is the de word will I still use het or de. Bvb - Ik zie de docent. Is that right. Thank you

It's ik zie ze / ik zie hem, depending on the gender.

@@iouribo Hm, Ik zie het (with het boek) but ik zie hem (with de boom). Ik zie er, you can use for the plural (de bomen or de boeken, it doesn't matter).
