To anybody out there that may be interested in doing their own nails at home. I highly recommend using a nail dehydrator and prep for your nails. It makes the nails stick really good, and they won’t snap off so soon. You gotta apply the dehydrator first, then the nail prep, then the base coat.

I am so glad that I came across your video. I just tried a polygel kit that I ordered and with the dual-forms I just can't get it. They were super think, but thin on the sides so they broke off. It was a disaster. I'm am now going to order tips! Your video has now renewed my confidence. 😉 Thanks so much for sharing! ❤️
using too much slip solution will cause the polygel to destabilize don't use too much just enough not to stick to your brush and its easier to start off from cuticle and bring to the tip
Also she started at the tip of the nail which isn’t as good because u can’t get the cuticle very smooth and it’s harder to take it off if you put to much so I recommend putting ur head at the base almost at the cuticle then forming it down the up. Also it’s much easier to move the brush away form urself and off the nail rather then reaped urself and the cuticle
@@janeschlegel8447 yep exactly its way to hard to go backwards also too much solution causes lifting but i guess she obviously aint a pro and just learned on the internet but at the same time misinformation is wrong like how she said use alot of solution for easier movement, while true it causes lifting and changes the composition of the gel

I tried Poly Gel over a set of tips for the first time tonight. I actually used this video as a tutorial just to make sure I had the correct concept of applying the Poly Gel over the nail tip. Your video was so helpful. Like you I also had the same shape tips and I like the way you showed how to clip them and shaped the tips into the ballerina shape. I like using the tips. I think it's better then using a duel form and and Poly Gel. I don't feel like the Poly Gel is stable and I had a difficult time curring, forming, and my nails looked crazy. I feel like there more stable with the tips. I used a Markart Poly Gel Kit for the first time as well and I really like the Poly Gel. It was easy to work with, the color were really nice, the base and top coat are nice as well. One of my favorite kits so far and one of my favorite videos, Jasmyn. Hope to see more.

This is a very helpful video and I'm definitely going to give this a try. I have tried doing polygel using the forms only but I found that the polygel will crack easily. It seems like if I use the half tips it will give it a better foundation and more strength

I do nails and I always recommend polygel to my clients and they love them. They even have glow in the dark polygel.
