Yeah so if you have all area 0 unlocked yuo can go to station 1, exit, turn right, go up the rock cliff, turn left from top of that, then once u see the waterfall you climb to the top. theres a circular pool of shallow water that has a ton of glints. much smaller area to comb and many more items.
Question: When you do the day skip glitch, and turn your date/time synchronize back on, WILL the game "remember" the date that you have collected gleams off the ground, or does it just reset anytime the date has been changed, regardless if you have played on that day?
you dont even need to do day skip, after a short time while being far enough away the glinting/glistening spots respawn without time rolling over, its like 5 ish min when they are out of spawn range from you, i dont know the exact time nor if this is works on all spots but i havent used day skip so far and ive been grinding for 2 laps in each section you used and i got them to respawn. for reference lap 1 for each was during day (fast) and lap 2 was during night (slow) and i will recommend grinding at night as the spots are way harder to see during the day seeing that i missed like 10 spots in just one section when it swapped to night (the ones i did spot during the day havent respawned yet) edit: my grinding was at 6:30 pm and i havent rolled over the clock either, the only time i pressed to home button was to type this out

Pro Tip: Pomeg/Kelpsy/Hondew Berries can ALSO be found as the random sparkly spawns throughout most if not all of South Province Area Four, just past the West side of Mesagoza. That's where I first found them. So, to summarize: Pomeg/Kelpsy/Hondew: South Province Area Four East Province Area Two Qualot/Grepa/Tamato: East Province Area One Since there are two areas in Paldea where you can find Pomeg/Kelpsy/Hondew Berries, I'd imagine there _has_ to be a second area where you can farm Qualot/Grepa/Tamato Berries as well. Maybe in Area Zero? But I've not gotten there yet. UPDATE: South Province Area Six is the other are that spawns Qualot/Grepa/Tamato Berries.
I done cracked the code. This works WELL for me: 1) Turn of auto save 2) Fill a party with non egg creating pokemon with the pickup ability 3) Save before picking anything up. If you pick it up and it's not a berry you want, go elsewhere. If it is: 4) Have a daytime picnic with the item in range and whistle whenever your pokemon fall asleep. 5) Profit. It still isn't fast fast, but it is the fastest way I've done it so far. It's 100% berries, spawns no eggs, plus less danger of getting in trouble for date skipping (not even sure that's a thing but I'm paranoid of getting banned).
one more advice I can give to avoid having to press A to pick up the berries is to have a Pokémon as fast as your ride following you in the overworld so they'll pick them up automatically
Sounds like a job for my Meowscarada, Ceruledge, or Veluza! Haven't seen how fast Veluza can move in the overworld though... that is unless they absolutely *_HAUL ASS_* at you in the water.
If GF didn't want us buying these berries this would a perfect time to bring back a berry farm of some sort.... like I guess most battle mons are going to be fresh but what if you make a mistake or wanna use a member from the story? Just seems so stupid that there isn't an efficient way to gather these
summary: You'll find them primarily in East Province Area 1 & East Province Area 2; date skip to get the gleaming objects back (*which may not be necessary as I believe they respawn after a certain amount of time)
I've had a lot more luck with the market method myself. Just resetting by moving the clock up 2 hours until they have the berries I want. I've gotten large chunks of them at once for each reducing stat. Expensive? Definitely, but it's worth it in my opinion.

thank you so much for this video truly. its helped me fully EV train the team i just casually beat the game with. i was wondering how i was gonna get enough berries. i did learn some things! 1.) you dont HAVE to do the time skip reset if you dont want. just leave the area for about 5min and come back. time jumping is however, an immediate reset. some things i do in the meantime: tera raids, desert glitter items. specifically if you are wanting money, i HIGHLY suggest desert, bc by the time you are done there, you can head back to berries. money AND berry farm essentially. repeat as needed. the additional money is also useful if you are wanting to check the porto marinada auctions. 2.) there's another area thats pretty good for berries! South Province (Area Four) Watchtower. all around that tower, up to the river (but not across.) can even go to the arcanine spawn on the hill (near the cave entrance.) if you are by the wild tera meowth/scyther, you're too far. i dont think its as good as the first area, but its also not bad if that makes sense. anyways, this lets you hop back and forth between both berry locations, since itll take you about 5min each to run thru the areas, by the time you are done with one, the other should have reset. im personally not a fan of time manipulation so i was looking for a way to do so. thank you so much once again.

I know there's an NPC that will tell you whether or not you have max EVs but is there a way to tell how your EVs are distributed so you know which berries to use? I'm still going through the story and I'm building a weather team as I progress and was planning on resetting EVs in the end game. Since the Isle of Armor NPC is gone I'm thinking it'll just be faster to breed my whole party again in postgame.
This is better other methods like the auctions are too much money and you have to be the wasting too much time resetting to get the item you want. This is faster
I'm getting so frustrated trying to get tamato berries. Everywhere says they spawn in this zone but all I can find there are kelpsy, hondew and pomeg over and over and in the upper western part I only find grepa, they don't change for me, I do not understand how these games are like this.
The game would be too easy if you could just plant unlimited berries to make all of your mons perfect. The hyper training is wild enough, I guess. Between the chansey grinding, hyper training, raid rewards, ace tournament sylveon method, and unlimited berry glitch, you can get a level 100 pokemon with perfect stats in less than a day. You also get unlimited berries, money, etc... Then you go to Megadoza (my spelling sucks) and buy whatever vitamins you need. Idk how the game could get much easier.
I did it with all of THE BEST raid pokemon (slyveon, azumarill, gholdengo, etc...). It only took maybe a full two days and now the only thing I can't beat it 5+ raids unless I do them alone. People online join with NO plan hoping the rest of the team will carry them for free rewards. I can like 1-4 shot almost any raid by myself.
I'm like 90% sure that if you use a mint of a pokemon it will reset all EVS. So if thats the case, skip the berry farming and buy a mint for 20k for EV reset.
Almost sounds like it’d be easier to hatch or catch a new copy of your Pokémon I gathered enough beating the game to basically fix my Meowscarada but… My Annihilape is all screwed up, I hate to lose like 60 levels but this berry method sounds like some convoluted BS

I did that for awhile, got hundreds of 4 types, but Kelpsy and Hondew berries only showed up once a in couple hours of resetting for me

sparklies respawn quickly, I think just resetting the game does it. people need to stop thinking like previous gen. stuff is no longer clock locked
Not knocking the method, but have you tried the waterfall in Area Zero? You can get berries there as well, as far as which is faster…. I have no idea.
Once you find the berry you want, you can use the picnic-breeding trick to get lots of them.
What is that?
If you set up a picnic near a shining item multiple of that item will appear in the basket when you breed pokemon

For all you color blind people: I found it significantly easier to find the shiny spots in the grass at night.
Also you could use the let’s go feature with a fast mon ex: espanthra the ostrich psychic and they pick up the items for you
You only need 11 per stat. First one drops the value to 100 regardless of current value as long as it's >100 and then 10x10 each.

Did they bring this back? That "drop to 100" thing was first introduced in Gen IV but was then immediately removed in Gen V.
