Wow. Its nice seeing all the concepts for things people have come up with for the RP2040. Good inspiration and ideas for others, and to as myself, for things to work on.

Thank you for your videos. I find them useful. e-ink displays are great, especially when it comes to energy efficiency and reading comfort. There are a lot of use cases for them, and it's a shame that this technology isn't developped more. Of course, there could be obstacles that I'm not aware of but anyway, a lot of applications and devices could work perfectly with a 2 or 4 colour display.

    Like the clever thumbnail.

I used Eink displays in past with arduino/esp and U8G2, but i am yet to find as great library for Pico as for arduino/esp ecosystems. This seems really usable. Thank you

I miss some io pins! But indeed, a 2nd one could do they heavy lifting and the badger for display!

Waiting for someone to come up with a new small console to run Game&Watch games (Libretto) using e-ink display ! That would be awesome as e-ink has good resolution and low frame rates.

Gary you no longer upload Speed Test G videos. Everything good?

What happened to the Speedtest G channel ? Its been more than 6 months since the last video. Nothing regarding the Snapdragon 8 gen 1, Exynos 2200 or the new Mediatek.

No one's watching them anymore I think, especially with the cost of getting these phones just for testing. Smartphone tech is getting stagnant.

So awesome. Reminds me of the Rolodex REX. Didn’t we dream of these kinds of things as kids? Wonder if a coin cell would be enough wattage to make the badger work?

kinda what I was thinking, maybe a few of those batteries strung together in the neck strap with some of the little solar panels like in the calculators.

As long as you put the pico into sleep as much as possible a cr2032 would last a decent while.

Having a hard time to identify what the driver chip for the e-ink display is in the badger2040. Want to write custom C firmware for it. If anyone has info about the driver chip, feel free to share!

Can you use a CR3032 type battery with this?

Carrying around your own little data base, It can have your badge, your photo, your name, your height, your hair and eye colour, your blood group, any allergies etc and if circumstances change can be updated.A couple of button batteries and it will not be that thick. What will they think of next?
