- Everyone talks about PNC Park and Camden Yards (along with AT&T, Fenway, and Wrigley), but Kauffman Stadium needs to be part of the conversation. It's absolutely GLORIOUS, and in this video, I explored various parts and explained why. I also snagged lots of baseballs before the game and even got to use my special "fountain device" to pluck one from the water. Great times all around including some heroics by Eric Hosmer at the very end.

Hey Zack, love your videos. You are so right in saying that Kauffman Stadium is one of the more underrated stadiums in Major League Baseball. As a lifelong Royals fan I can remember getting tons of autographs during the 80’s at the old Adam’s Mark hotel where the visiting teams would stay across the interstate.
I think my most prized autograph was from Bert Blyeleven when he played for the Minnesota Twins. He was so nice to my friend and I that evening even after he took the loss. I’ll never forget that! Thank you for sharing your experiences.
I’m a Coloradan but I have family in KC, and these two teams are par for my favorite. If only this was in Colorado, I would’ve loved to go to this game

@@johnwesleyhuss2327 umm we resigned Moustatakas for 1 year and then we traded him so not his fault. With Hoz I mean still he was great and Cain would never betray us we just didn’t have the money for all of them

I was at this game! Hosmer's home run went directly over me about 5 feet above my head. You can actually see me in the highlight video. It almost bounced back off the concrete in the walkway towards me but the guy who got it was just too quick. Glad to see you enjoyed The K!

I have seen comments of hate for this dude...I do not get it. Can you watch the videos and see that he counts his baseballs but usually gives them away to kids nearby. Unless its in game or a HR or meaningful ball. Dude is out there doing what he loves and in a lot of cases, gives the balls away and makes someone else's day....no hate needed, play on player and keep on keeping on and do what you do

I had some similar bad luck in early August when I went there. There was a home run (also hit by hosmer) to right centerfield, roughly 20 feet from where I was standing. It would've been a routine catch, but I left 2 innings before that to move towards the Royal's dugout. I feel your pain

As a KC Royals fan, I have had some fun experiences at this stadium. I miss the days of th sold $5 outfield tickets. It was at this stadium where as a kid I got my old royals hat signed by Sal Fasano. Still have that hat to this day.

Been to over 500 games as a child, but life moves ya 14 hours away. Hope to bring the babies to the K someday. I still watch all the games on TV - going to the playoffs and WS 2 years in a row was an amazing exp. Hope it happens again for me to excuse bunking with my sissy. haha - Glad you love the K too, Zack. Godspeed and Blessing to ya path -hope one day we can share a game.

Hey Zack, been watching for awhile now like anyone else. Was wondering if you could explain how batting practice groups work. How do you know who will be in what group, the caliber of players per group, amount of lefties/righties, etc, especially when you are standing way out in the outfield. I assume there is a regular rhythm to this but I can't find a video where you explain it, and after going to enough batting practices I never know if I'm in the right place at the right time.
It's based on the batting order, more or less. Just gotta watch and pay attention and adjust accordingly.
Do kayakers at AT&T have the same floating problem? Because isn't that salt water, so the ball would float more?
Not sure how much of a difference it makes, but the balls to sink in SF.

if you care about my opinion, i'd say kauffman. my #1 favorite i've visited. that being said i've never been to suntrust though. both kauffman and target field were really nice.

Hi Zack, I was wondering what sort of equipment you and your videographer use to film these videos. I know some parks have struck rules for filming, do you ever face issues surrounding this? Thanks man. Keep up the great videos!
The only issue we had was at Petco last year. It was shockingly strict. We just make sure not to use anything big or professional.
