I've listened to this a lot, but only now got curious enough to look at the anime used.
Just... WOW... The maker did a great job to blend them, because I thought there were only like... ~5 anime used
...........no words could do this justice it was sheer silence at the beauty and this was beautiful. as for other 29 ppl. i can only feel sorry for them. This modern artwork was exceeded expectation
After watching Nostromo's videos, I don't think I will ever be able to enjoy another AMV again because nothing can compare to the stuff he does.

I saw it the first time at the Connichi 2008 and I was stunned. i NEVER saw something this FLUID, I couldn't believe it.
Nostromo is one of the biggest stars of the amv-scene.
The only problem with Nostromo's videos is that...I can't stop watching them!

I watched the HQ version of this at the org. I have to say, Nostromo has once again delivered one of the best AMVs released ever to date.
His editing skills are totally superior, and he manages to keep a consistent 'feeling' in this AMV, by using excellent footage and matching them with the music.

Wow...whoever did this evidently knew what they were doing - not just about making amvs, but editing in general. Wouldn't be surprised if they were in film.

Thanks, I tried my best to express myself with the best possible way. And yes - it's harder to make a concept for an AMV with mixed series, that's why I usually prefer AMVs which use one or two series. But that may be my own taste.

She's from Diebuster, the sequel to Gunbuster. She's called Tycho. Same anime as Nono, the girl in the orange/red with pink hair who appears just after her and several times throughout the video.
I was hooked within the first 10secs, This is the first AMV i've seen.... Looks like a masterpiece that took years to create... flawless.... Just over the top perfect! MAKE MORE! =)

it's been so long since I last saw this, it was like a decade ago, and somehow this amv still stuck with me in my memories. For the past week I was trying to find this video, but couldn't remember the song name, but then I just remembered the title today haha.
Nostromo is an amazing video editor, i really like this amv, even though Magic Pad is still my favorite (but this one comes in as a close second)

You make Nono look like such a badass. I watched Diebuster, and I was very surprise because of the first impression I got from this AMV.
I don't think this video is supposed to tell a story. It is strictly a music video. In adherence to the free-form style of trance/techno music, this video perfectly compliments the beats and is meant to be visual stimulation, rather than a focused narrative. I purport that it achieves the goals it set out to accomplish, and also support the notion that it won't be to everyone's taste. But I give it a 10.

Nostromo is the AMV master!
The first anime is the same up to 00:18, it's from Diebuster, AKA Aim For The Top 2. First character is Tycho, the second, in the red/orange with pink hair is Nono. The same goes for the latter one, it's Nono again just... after some things happen, heh.
I've read this in a comment post before and I believe it sums up any Nostromo dislikes, "The people who disliked this video were so amazed by it that they misread the dislike button as 'dis I like!' :) "

This is absolutely, amazing. It's so seamless, I didn't even realize I was watching an AMV until the third time I watched it when I looked at the full description. I had figured Nostromo was part of some studio that made anime, but this is all editing... WOW!
