I have the genuine leather version. It's a decent print with much better paper than previous printings. Thanks for making the video.

Glad you like it! Genuine leather is a great option. I should have mentioned that in the review.

    Absolutely beautiful text block!
    I love the single column!
I have to admit the verse numbers really pop. Very well done. I for sure will look for this beauty. Thanks for the review!!! 🙏

Thanks for your comment. The verse numbers placed where they are make this an ideal preaching Bible.

Great review! Love what Lockman has been doing with their bible design choices.

Its a great looking Bible. The single column, the verse-by-verse typesetting, the cross references and translation notes conveniently next to the text, probably the best NASB 2020 typesetting. I agree about the ribbons, they should include a third for the price. I'm hard on Crossway over the poor ribbons they put in the Omega, so I must be consistent. Holman put three broad satin ribbons in their Handcrafted NASB 2020, so it can be done...

It can be done with the ribbons. Also, those ribbons on Crossway heirloom Bibles are no bueno, man. They can do better.

Nice Bible. I have this Bible and the Thomas Nelson SCR in the NASB 95. I prefer the Thomas Nelson, but both great Bibles.

I like my Zondervan NASB2020. That has a great layout and form factor. Thomas Nelson do make great Bibles.

Which one stands out for you? This one from the Lockman or the one from 316 publishing?

    • @joesbibles5636

      I don't own any 316 Publishing Bibles so I can't compare.

Nice Bible, not a NASB fan. For those who are that definitely is a nice bible to add to your collection!

For over $200 I'd expect a bit more: No French paper, Not Jongbloed, only 2 ribbons... This lacks too much for the "premium" high price they set it at.

I hear ya. But did you know that you can get the same text block for $45? It just won't have the goatskin. The imitation leather block is good bang for your buck.

14 POINT! Don't care about size or weight, 8 pounds will do if it works for some of us. Us old folks with the money to purchase a fine Bible constantly get disappointed with great Bibles in small print.
I and many others require a 14 to 17 point font print. Which gives you thin paper, ugly red (Washed out pink) ink where used, cheap leather, non line matching, and if I need a giant print, why is the concordance in 8.5 font ?
Are Bible publishers creating usable bibles for special needs or just praising the Lord while they create special interest Bibles that generate quick cash ??
BTW: Publishers quit calling 10 to 12 point fonts "Giant", it is not. Giant is 14 point and up.

Thanks for your comment. I didn't realize the need for larger font sizes.

316 has an LSB with 13 point that really pops. It’s double column but looks really good, and I don’t even need large print yet!

      @ThePaPappy 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@biblecornerreviews Thanks, I'll have to check that out. I do have the LSB on eSword (34 in. gaming monitor) and do like their revisions. I will check the print version. Programs are nice but not the same as physically holding it in your hand.

@@joesbibles5636 There are around 7 million people with vision problems and they expect that to worsen because of screen time. A local news story related that younger and younger children are needing glasses.
My 1st Bible was published by Eyre & Spottiswoode and would fit in a shirt pocket. Can't read that now even with 6x reading glasses !
