"This mouse is primarily made for people people with disabilities..." It's not. Did you read that somewhere? Trackballs have been used since before you were born by normal everyday people. Parkinson's is the only handicap I think may could benefit over a traditional, even then I'm not so sure. Trackball pros are: 1. You are significantly less likely to develop carpel tunnel. This goes in multiples for people that work on computers for several hours a day. Even without the concern of carpel, it's just more comfortable to use for long periods. There is almost literally no fatigue. 2. It's great for limited space/couch use. 3. Developers and graphic designers that need pixel perfect location when clicking the mouse button. Since you can lift your thumb and the courser will not move anymore, there's no chance of the motion of clicking the mouse button moving it. There is an adjustment phase, but all developers and marketing people that I know have made the switch after convincing them to try it for a week. Cons: Gaming. For most RPGs a trackball is fine. Outside of that, very few people will be better at a game with a trackball over a traditional mouse.
Ergonomics are not just for folks who have issues. There are for everyone to protect your body from developing problems like carpel tunnel syndrome. I love Logitech trackballs. I have been using them probably since the 90s? I have carpel tunnel syndrome. It has helped me not make it worse and allowed me to work well for my job and other projects on my computer. I tried some other models. I come back to Logitech. What I like about this model is that it uses a AA battery. You don't have to worry about an internal battery. AA gives you a lot of function.
I recently began to develop wrist pain / fatigue (decades of mediocre posture and computer use would do that to you) so I decided NOT to wait for a full-blown carpal tunnel syndrome or other disabilities and get onto the trackball humble bandwagon. Good review.
You didn’t talk about the two extra buttons next to the track ball. It’s a good practice to talk about all the features and anything that may leave ppl wondering, “what does this part do?”
Thanks for the review! I do have a m570 and the 2 only things that I hate about it is the lack of Bluetooth (that m575 seems to have) and the common loud clicky noise. I’m looking for a trackball more silent. Anybody could recommend some model?
Why Logitech is so focus on bringing out thumb operated trackballs. It's about time Logitech update the Cordless Optical Trackman for finger operated trackball fans.
Hi. I have a macbook air and have been using the magic mouse. It is hard to copy and paste with it so I figured I would try this one. The ball seems to not glide that well and is there some settings somewhere? I plugged the dongle in and it worked right away. Very hard to use compared to the magis mouse. Not sure and how do I zoom with is mouse? Is there anyway I can get just the basic settings on this? Thanks.
I love the track ball the ergo m575 is my second track ball back in the day i had e TrackMan Wheel i found out about them at famely friend house after the first practice round never went back to normal Mous no disabilities though. And as a additionele bonus ther ar good fore gaming after the smal learning cuve
Can not find this mouse on Amazon at all. Even through your link. Only at the Logitech website. Weird. I really want to upgrade my M570 to this version for the bluetooth connection for my Surface,
1. He's making claims about who would use it, which he's later contradicting himself. 2. He's basically only talking about trackballs as if he's just discovered them, not actually reviewing the M575.
Putting it on your chair armrest is absurd. It is too heavy and wide; it would fall off very easily unless you keep your hand on it all the time, which would be impossible if you are typing.
What do you mean by this mouse is made for disability. It’s not. This trackball mouse have it for a very long time. It makes work flow more efficiently and avoid wrist pain for those who work for a very long time in front of the computer. Review properly than bring it up. Don’t just creating video which is not true.
I tried to find the same. The only thing I can figure is it's a refresh since the M570 came out ages ago. Just looks like a slightly different shape. My 570 is worn out, so I'm in the market. I think I'll give the 575 a shot for just another $10.

0:09 "Logeteeech" lol
I have yet to hear a consensus as how to pronounce the company name LOL
Does the trackball pop out for cleaning?

Kensington “took over” the market for the finger operated trackball, so.....

Do you need plug in the dongle if Bluetooth is available in host side like an android tablet?
Detailed and clear video. Instant subscriber.

It's not released in the UK yet, coming early Jan. Not sure if that is the case where you are in the world.
@@LetsGoJoeB I'm in the US. but I'm going to get it from them directly today.
hahahaa seriously?
You didn't even use the mouse once. helluva review dude
Very good review
ergonomics aren’t only for people with disabilities. I know a ton of everyday people that use trackballs.
A very good review!
I wonder why people dislike such a wonderful review. Good job.

you probabbly dont know what trackball is😴

What is difference between Logitech M570 and M575 ?

@@danielhoglan3468 m575 has Bluetooth and the other does not
Bluetooth. I just purchased one today for my Samsung Go Book 5G and it instantly synced and I was off and running!
The radiation is very very low :) Lower than every normal cellphone ;)
Awesome review! 😊✌

It's not a 'mouse' it's a trackball. It says so on the box.
It is too big for my hand.
