I've bought 2nd hand dolls and doll clothes from Ebay and Mercari that came to me reaking of cigarette smoke and air freshener. I was able to wash the scent from the clothes. But I could never completely remove it from the doll. The seller should have mentioned it in the listing. Horrible smell.
