still to this day as far as I know, John's T17, T18, D18 way to check out 141 for the 9 darter is the still only time that any player has gone that way. most players would finish by hitting T20, T19, D12. I remember John said in a later interview that he wound up choosing that way because he was keeping to the same side of the board and only had to work his way up to the double, instead of going all over the shop.
