- Loading Port Modification Beretta 1301 Comp Shotgun. Must have for A Race Ready Competition Shotgun. In my constant effort to improve my race gun I'm again making some modifications to my Beretta 1301 Comp shotgun. I do my best to explain the process and give as much guidance as possible. If anyone has any questions please drop them in the comments and I will do my best to answer them. When editing this video it became blatantly apparent how much weight I have put on so its back on track with my training.. Amazing how getting a glimpse of yourself gives you the needed kick in the ass to get motivated!!
WoW!! After seeing you test load! I was all in! Man that was smooth! That lil touch of a mod was a huge adjustment! I have the tactical 1301, along with A300 ultima patrol( which has a larger area) I’m going to have to purchase a vise and some sand paper !! That was an awesome improvement!
Thank You , great show sir
Very good instructions and very helpful video... The 1301 series in my honest opinion is the best semi automatic shotgun ever made. The only problem with this video is the audio is low, I can barely hear you with the volume all the way up. Otherwise good job man
Thanks for the feedback 👍 I’ll look into that sound issue.
I used this videos as an instructional to open my loading port, so thank you very much 👍🏻 I may have been a bit conservative so might have to have another go at some point.
Love it! I’m so glad it helped! 👍🏼
Very informative... Keep up the good work. Have you updated/changed anything since the making of this video?
Thanks! No.. This was the final modification to this gun.. I'm very happy with it and its functionality. I'm thinking of picking up the new 1301 and modifying that or maybe the Mossberg JM Pro.
Can you put a picatinny rail on the beretta 1301 comp for a red dot and on the handguard for flash light?
Yes you can.. Additions are not cheap, but they are out there 👍
How do you like Beretta compared to Benelli M2?
I was a big fan of the M2 for a long time.. And still own one today.. But, after doing the mods paired with the Beretta Blink System and it being gas driven rather than inertia it has become my go to competition gun.
