Even after watching this guide I still feel like the fight is hard as heck lol. I have trouble remembering every single cue there is for all the different attacks, and as a gunlancer, i feel like im moving around way too slow to dodge everything and my attacks are way too slow within the windows of opportunities to attack to even do anything effective to contribute to my team. It's also hard to tell when the bosses "down time" is to go in on, because sometimes she does stuff that doesnt do any damage at all even though it looks like it's an attack. I feel like a ton of other people struggle on this too by how horrible my success rate has been for this boss specifically in matchmaking
There are only like 5 attacks she does though, what helps for me is to not bother picking up the orbs, just walk into her flame breath for 1 stack, you need that damage buff. When she's charging, you have to stagger her. When she teleports do what the video says it's pretty easy. When the lights come on the ground, stop attacking and just avoid them. Just take it easy, usually you will finish the fight with 5 minutes+ left so no need to rush DPS during dangerous attacks.
If you go in solo, there will not be a lot of windows for damage. But when there are 3 others and you know the patterns, you'll have a lot more time for damage! Good luck fellow gunlancer! 😄
If you're going Combat Readiness, just face-tank the boss and don't stand in fire. Make sure your shield is up and just beat the hell out of him. I wouldn't worry about the majority of his mechanics. Just make sure you don't run out of shield, and if you do, move away until you can use Shout of Hatred to get your shield back.
"Yoho will start walking like a model" that caught me off guard and made me a cackle! Your videos have been comfort videos, I avoided raids so much because Vertus beat the heckl out of me but yt recommended your video and now I watch them for guradian raid guides! Thank you2x!

Had a raid where we got wiped at 1% after beating yoho several times I wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing anything and this video really taught me a lot even after doing the raid several times before!

there seems to be extra mechanics it also does some digging or swiping motion with its front paws, and after that there's several strips of fire like a firewall that appear

As a Monster Hunter lover i love the idea behind this content but i'm struggling a bit to clear them because i'm playing a Bard and i have to rely more on my team. Do you think i could try to clear them solo with a specific build or just stick to a 4-man party? Also do you have any tip to get a good amount of battle items? I want to bring granades for fight but at the beginning most of my teammates dies after just 3-5 minutes into the fight, so it feels kinda wasteful to throw away battle items. Thank you for your encouraging words! I love MH too 😄 Bard main... yea it's really hard... I never recommend support mains because a lot of the future contents give damage dealers the advantage... But still if you're a Bard main, I suggest you find a fixed party, so that you guys can practice playing with each other. For battle items, I always bring the maximum number I'm allowed, but they're only effective if all your party members are using them. For example, if you need to stagger something and your party size is 4, the guardian will require that much more stagger compared to going in solo and staggering it. Thus, if one person saves their battle item, you might not complete the pattern successfully. That's why, again, I recommend a fixed party! If you're a Bard main, there will be a ton of people wanting you in their fixed party! Good Luck Mich! 😄
I'm a bard main as well and I have tried this boss at least 20 times today with one win, I can keep them alive fine enough but when everyone dies with 3-5min left the boss is always still at 40% hp + I am starting to give up (also rip my battle items)

@@Nassem I would say yes! Man those attempts we had consumed a lot of potions. For my sake Im happy Im a Mayhem berserker, cheaper 30% pots, but my buddy chugged so many 45% pots. Anywho you certainly earned a sub,and recommendation to my friends! Quality content.
Thanks! As a Scrapper, I'm gonna be pounding her butt most of the time with a random matchmaking group. I'm guessing her fire spin does 360 degree damage? And I'll just watch out for the hop and the direct tail whip. Though it might be hard to see her head nodding with all those tails flailing around :P Also, thx for the scorpion boss vid. I was able to chop off the tail tip with 2 bombs (his 2nd charge up) and everyone was like OOOH THAT WAS SO COOL. Hes noticeably slower after his tail tip was popped. Ok just tried it. Her fire spin got me so many times, I just keep on hitting her butt. She went down eventually. Bard was very helpful :D

honestly for me its impossible to see any of the visual tells in this fight. the holographic effect just fucks everything up, if theres a way too disable this kind of thing someone let me know, im sure holograph is intended obv but if theres some way to disable all optional visual effects thatd be great

Hi Ricardo! Lonely Knight needs at least four level 3 engravings to be effective in my opinion! That's why I chose Combat Readinesss right now. It's just more efficient with less engravings! 😄
I was looking at my analytics and saw that no one was using those subtitles... they take me additional 2 hours to work on them, so I didn't think it was worth it! If I get more audiences from non-English speaking countries, I'll put the time and add them again! 😄
The game needs a lot of adjustmens. Hitboxes would fix a lot of things. Sometimes due to the fixed camera its impossible to see things. This boss is breaking my head.

@@Nassem Oh I don't mean the individual islands but apparently there is a daily you can do called Adventure Island that you have to use a compass for? But idk what it is.
@@bridgetonowhere Ah I see, those islands just pop out when the time comes! They give good rewards, that's why you need to do them daily. Do you know how to check the timer? (Upper left corner there is this blue stopwatch icon looking thing) That gives you when the islands are popping out. Mouse over them and you can see the rewards! 😄😄
How are you using the shield potion if it's not on your bar? You mentioned using 5 potions, but can only use 4. maybe he means to choose between the panacea and shield before starting based on your needs.
This fox has a tone of HP and with 5 matchmaking parties we seem to fail to deal any damage! After 10 minute fight we wipe and boss still has >50% HP! WHAT!

Always fight in parties as it is 2x easier than fighting solo, assuming your gear score is at the bare minimum

This fight really emphasizes hit-and-run mechanics for melee classes. I feel sorry for any super-squishy melee -- the fight is amazingly punishing.

This boss and nacrasena (scorption one) as melee it's just a nightmare especially as a newcomer to the game... so hard to tell when to back of etc.

Does the fire soul buff duration get higher than 1 minute if you manage to get two stacks or does it just reset the timer to one minute?
It resets to 1 minute! 😄
