mr Lars, i have a Westminster hanging on the wall.
My grandfather died and i was the one who was allowed to have it.
I have taken great care not to damage anything by taking off the weights, the pendulum, everything that could be taken off was taken off.
BUT i forgot to be smart enough to put indicators on the weights so to know which goes where.
I have weighed them, 3 of them.
1 of them weighs 3 kilo, roughly 6 pounds.
The other 2 weigh roughly 1.9 kilo, lets round it to 2 kilo, so that is about 4 pounds.
I would think it is logic to have the heavy one in the middle and the 2 with similar weight on the left and right for the chimes.
Is this correct or is the heavy one supposed to go somewhere else?

The heavy one needs to be on the right that is for the melody

@@larsclocks ok, thank you very much for the quick answer. I have been looking for the answer online but so far no luck.
I assume if i had put the heavy one in the middle the clock would wear out faster or just not keep time or something like that.
Glad there are still people who know about these antiques.
