The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers is Now OPEN at its new location in Disney's BoardWalk Resort in Walt Disney World®, Florida.
Gwendolyn Rogers is so excited to be bringing one of her restaurant and bakery experiences to Disney.
The Cake Bake Shop is a new table service restaurant and bakery. That offer both savory and dessert menus, along with an afternoon tea service. All in a whimsical atmosphere that complements the magic of the idyllic charm of Disney's BoardWalk Resort that guests know and love.
Looks fantastic in there but $25 for a slice of cake is nuts. Much rather have a Gideons hehe xxx

Not sure this place will last long after the newness wears off. We will see. Its more of an afternoon tea/brunch type of atmosphere. At $14.99 for a slice of key lime pie and $23 for a cake slice, it will take some creativity for it to stick around.

Well you can leave boardwalk resort and get cake somewhere else lol. More of a standard rip off than a highway robbery .
It is worth the $20 if it is a special occasion and you are enjoying the presentation and the beautiful atmosphere. The price includes all of that!

This restaurant is rooted in my hometown in Indiana! So special to have it here where everything else is new and unfamiliar!! Yes it’s pricey, but it’s a wonderful, special occasion restaurant! And the chicken velvet soup is my favorite!
Aldi's has great crab cakes in the freezer section, all meat, very little filler, for $6.49 for 2. The burger looks like it had McDonalds amount of onions. The gumbo didn't appear to have any shrimp or sausage in it, or much chicken for that price. Sorry, I work too hard to eat there.

Hi Nate, I wasn’t going to try the Cake Bake Shop when I saw the original prices. Now that the prices have been reduced and I see the portion size I might give it try. The ambiance and staff look amazing. The cake slices really are expensive but at least they are big enough to share. Thanks for the video!

The pricing is disgusting. I recently saw they even lowered the prices, but they are still outrageous. Price gouging at its finest.

Love the positivity but man the prices are just crazy. But I get it, this place is for guest staying at deluxe resorts etc not the average guest.

Beautiful restaurant! I would definitely eat there without the cake. Actually the crabcakes cost as much here in Maryland, $27 for a crabcake sandwich and fries is pretty typical.
