I left a good payng job two and a half years ago to drive a truck at Prime Inc. What have I learned? Would I do it again? I go into the good, the bad and the ugly. Let's find out.
When I was OTR I did 20 minutes of jump rope every other day. At the end of my day I would whip out my jump rope mat and start a 10 minute, 2 minute break, then finish with another 10 minute session. Then I would stretch when I finished. Jump rope is highly underrated and I feel men are too embarrassed to start for fear of looking dumb. But once you get good you will look like a boxer. 🥊
Good video man, you didn’t really have a destination initially it seemed like but you landed that plane lol. How long do you think it’ll take for the market to go up again?
@KingMeAOB things have been better the last couple weeks. Who knows how long it will last. I think this is just sort of the new normal for a long while.
Id love to find a person to team up with. Ive been driving 17 years and I've teamed before and the money is just better if you focus on that. I just dont trust other drivers like that 😅. You really lucked out with that one right off the bat.
I think it's the best of the mega carriers, but I'm bias. It's been good to me. I think it's a great company to start at. As far as the cameras go.... that is what they are saying. Driver facing cameras in all trucks in the next 12- 18 months.
All new lease contracts include the clause for driver facing cameras. So any new hires should expect to have them and all current drivers should expect to be fit up in that time.

I went with Twisted D great trainer.
Enjoyed the video! Not a trucker but found it interesting. Is it the economy as a whole with less demand or is it just slower due to your company?
@@smokeon1633 just less demand in general.

How many hours a week/day you average?
@@bageltv3489 varies greatly.

Is prime still a good place to go, as a lease purchase driver?
Are they going to put driver facing cameras on all trucks ?
