so Lucky Star has suchhh a deeper and sadder meaning to it! she sang this song to cooper her best friend as he was falling asleep a couple weeks before he passed so she’s saying it’s Coopers Lullaby. absolutely heartbreaking🥺 and gives the song a whole new meaning
this album means the world to me. it just dropped but every song is so incredibly special to me. ( also side note just to give you a little more context on some of the songs: nessa has BPD ( borderline personality disorder ) which often tends for her to get into episodes and spiral out of control on people, specially people she loves. thats where lovebomb came from. it’s supposed to be her apology after the aftermath of her BPD episode. also lucky star & die first are very special songs because die first was her best friend coopers fav song on the album ( which the song die first was written abt nessa’s mom & cooper ) and cooper unfortunately died from a drug overdose about a week before die first came out. & lucky star was a song nessa used to sing cooper to sleep on her acoustic guitar :,(
