Excellent choice! This could rival the Monster for your best build in my opinion. The best sounding super bike in my opinion. And I agree, the R1 is right there with the Panigale. A full Akrapovic system will sound ferocious.

Considering the firing order, and timing/spacing, yeah it plays a huge part, in the "pulse", for traction control. GP 500 cc two strokes, had "big bang" engines. Closely firing sequence of pistons, in a way acted like a single piston. ( loose description) Absolutely mad nutter, rider tossing monsters. Congrats on your purchase. Former 03 R1 rider here. Miss that sexy beast.

I know it’s a bit of a drive, but you should definitely take it to Nick Marino (Xplane R1 Custom Tuning) for the ECU flash and dyno tune. He’s the best in the business for the R1’s.

Graves exhaust on an R1 hands down....my race bike (2016 R1) with the Graves 3/4 system on it is absolutely ignorantly loud, but not an unpleasant sound.

You should go to Blackmans cycle in Emmaus. Their show room is pretty stocked and they have brand new Aprilia‘s. They have everything there. I would imagine you just come down 81 and 78. No Turnpike needed. Lol I know it’s crazy expensive here. Might take you an hour and 45 to get our, max two hours

Can’t go wrong with a R1/R1M but I may be a bit biased. Though I do have a question… How the hell did you get a normal license plate the day of? I’m in Texas and we get temp plates for about a month before the permanent plates come in.
Yeah the R1M isn't a "limited" bike they're just numbered, gives you the feeling that you're special by having a number on the bike. You can basically go into any dealer and purchase one if they have a good Yamaha rep who deals with them. They don't sell a whole ton of them because of the price tag anyways so it's more of a demand thing, eventually the base R1 will look almost exactly the same as the R1M and be fitted with the same tech it might take a few more years though.
Considering how much carbon is already on this bike I reckon you should change things up, check out Jetprime, CNC racing and maybe OZ wheels for a change?

It’s cool and all but and Austin racing or sc project exhaust would be an awesome choice for exhaust over the akra. Also all the carbon fiber builds are getting old all the bikes end up looking the same
The build series are great but maybe do a Cafe racer one time or maybe some sort dirt bike conversion like Adam Sandoval is doing right now. I could see Dado having a blast with a build like that. Open up another content avenue
I love the channel and have been watching for a few years, but the carbon on carbon on carbon is just becoming stale. Love everything you do and the interaction you have with all of your subscribers but I’d love to see you paint some of the carbon or doing something a bit different
no offence but when people say their car or bike has never been satrted or has 0 miles, thats just not true. all bikes (at least all sportbikes) get a ride in at the factory and usualy another one at the dealership. same with any sports car really. so it defenetaly got started and usually they have like 2 miles on them before even leaving the factory. (it just says 0 on the dash because they can reset that at the factory)
