The COTTARELLI vises are handmade in Italy by Franco Cottarelli, owner of the Cottarelli CTA turnery, expert fisherman and fly tyiers. All the choices that have been made to make these vises are very ingenious and will greatly facilitate fly tying.
One of the strengths of the COTTARELLI system is that all components are modular to each other, allowing you to assemble the vise that best suits your needs.
The TRAVEL is one of the most appreciated vises of the Cottarelli (CTA) line. The pedestal is made of solid brass and provides the vise with excellent stability during fly tying. There are holes on the horizontal arm of the tripod that act as a tool holder.
This clever tripod system also closes in on itself, taking up very little space, making it ideal for transporting to clubs or to tie elsewhere, for example.
