  • the full process of making an mbira with the Tirikoti family. These are traditional sacred intruments of the Shona people, used for prayer, worship, calling the ancestral spirits and assisting the work of the Svikiro.

    Thank you for sharing! I am struggling with a couple loose keys in my nyunga nyunga mbira. When I see how these mbiras are made, think: what an awesome job!

    How did he shorten the top end of the keys once they were on the Mbira? Didn't see that happening.

      He cut them off with a hacksaw
