WRONG! You NEVER push on the humps (aero fairings) to latch the trunk lid down. They will dent. This is a known wrong doing. Simply launch the lid from the open high point and let it fall into place.
And never press the glove box switch first. release the latch at the windshield first to take the stress off the roof and the buttresses. Then push the glove box switch.
