I had to take over for our center snare in this showcase, and omg I couldn’t more grateful for that opportunity. Playing that solo at 3:33 just felt so mesmerizing and I had so much fun throughout the rest of the run. Noah, I hope I made you proud and that you enjoyed it. I was here in person last Saturday (West Salem 2nd yr. Color Guard 😀). I saw both prelims and finals, and let me say that the finals blew my mind to bits. The prelims, in my opinion, wasn't their best run. But, the finals really proved me wrong. This show is so good, and I loved it. I had to cover my ears, since the fireworks, but you don't know how loud I screamed. I had a halloween party with my friends that night, and I missed it because of the comp. But, This show was truly fantastic, and I'm glad I missed the party. I would watch it live again if I could. I can't wait to see them at championships!
I actually thought their finals run was pretty strong! They made so much improvement from their last competition with cleaning, all they needed to have was a little bit more volume
