      Thank you, Paul.
I can't read or write music, but I know what it should sound like, so I simply play by ear. 👍

Hey Tony, I watched the entire series. The playlist was not in the exact proper order, but it did not matter too much. I learned something from each and every video. I think you have done a fantastic job with this series, thanks.

I'm please you've enjoyed my tutorials. I will keep making them as and when I come up with simple ideas for beginners. Surprisingly, some of these video's can take days to produce from concept to finished video. Thanks for watching.

Hi Tony, I recently got Music maker 2019 and your tutorials have been amazingly useful! Quick question; if you had to pick one drum kit from the store, which one would you pick? I'll be making tracks that I can play some electric guitar on - Think Pink Floyd meets electronic dance meets a bit of funk. Yeah, an odd combo so I'm looking for a good all-round kit. I might stretch to two if need be. Thanks again for the tutorial, they've been invaluable in getting me started! Best regards, Jim.

      Hi Jim.
      Thank you for your compliments.
My personal preference would be the 'Pop Drums' - but that's just my opinion, you understand. Many people don't realise that they produce a different sound depending on the area where you 'hit' them - just like real drums. But, even if you don't get the sound you're after in the first place, you can 'manipulate' the sound to suit your own requirements. Like most stuff in Magix, you can tinker about with so many settings with almost all of the instruments.
I'm sorry I can't be any more specific than that. Nevertheless, I'm pleased my tutorials have been helpful to you, and thanks for watching.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I think the Pop Drums looks like a good all-rounder. It's also in the sale at the moment so it's an easy decision!

Hello Tony. I think your series is fantastic! And I've been using Magix Premium for about 2 1/2 years but I still say that I'm an amateur. The problem I've been having with the old and this new 2022 version is the yellow bar at the top snapping back to the beginning and I am unable to restore it. Any suggestions?🤔

      Hi Jah'sVision.
Yes, that is something I have experienced in the past and it's a pain in the neck, because you can't get hold of the marker and stretch it back out to the end of your music.
I wrote to Magix about this myself but they couldn't really offer a specific cure for it. What I did find is that it eventually cured itself after a while, especially after shutting down my PC and starting the program again. I know this is a most frustrating 'glitch' with the software but, bear with it and it should sort itself out eventually. 👍

hi Tony thanks for your educations, I want to know how to change bpm for every object, like for vocal I want to set 100bmp and drum/bass 120. right now when I set it does not change all play @ one tone.

      Hi Gamers are ledgends.
This is not an easy task, but it can be done and goes beyond what I intended in an absolute beginners' tutorial.
I have not yet found a way to highlight all of the 'vocal' objects (or any other multiple objects in any other track, for that matter) and alter the BPM of one track without it applying the effect to every track - as you have found yourself. The only way I have managed it is to highlight just ONE single object in a track, press [Shift+P] to enter the [Tempo pitch/ resample] tab in the [Inspector] tab. From there, use the bottom left-hand dial to set the tempo of that object. This is extremely difficult because you cannot type a tempo value, you just have to 'twiddle with the dial until you manage to get it to the tempo you want. Once you've done that, select the next object in the same track and repeat the sequence. That's the only way I've managed to do it. It will not work if you select more than one object in any one track. Well, that's been my experience.
Hope this helps, and thanks for watching. 👍

      Hello Ajith Kumar
First of all, thank you for watching my video, I hope you found it helpful.
There is now only one version of Magix and it's simply called Magix Music Maker. Your message has re-ignited my desire to produce a video explaining some of the film-making sound effects that are available in the latest versions of Magix. If you only have Magix 2011 then you really do need to upgrade, because amny people do not realise that there are Sounpools in Magix that are specifically aimed at film productions. Unfortunately, most people think that Magix is all about making 'songs', but it's far more powerful than that, and the Soundpool called Cinematic Soundscapes demonstrates this extremely well.
