- Snowfall walk in Central Park, New York. Early apologies for all of the cuts in the recording. I did a long walk in the snowfall around Central Park, the most visited urban park in the United States. Many people say that New York has no trees or nature, but thy forget there is a massive park in the middle of Manhattan that is bigger than some small countries. When I was living in NYC during the Summer, I would spot all kinds of wildlife here from chipmunks and squirrels to a huge array of bird species. This video was filmed the same day as my Times Square video. I actually walked from Times Square to immediately start this video. Winter is great, but I really want to return for Autumn. Early apologies for all of the video cuts. I stopped to clear water residue off of my camera lens every so often. Binaural audio for an immersive experience.

It’s insane how someone’s dream is someone else’s daily life.
It's ironic I was thinking the same thing. I left New York and moved to Arizona cause of the snow. Shoveled for 25 years and I think I am done.

I stood 3 feet from my tv screen in the dark and I was there in Central Park. AMAZING! I can no longer physically walk long distance, so your videos allow me my armchair travels pain free especially this one. BRILLIANT!! A true work of art. Thank you so much!!

I used to live in Springfield, Missouri for 6 years. Now I'm back in Southeast Asia. I cannot explain how badly I want to go back to an area where it snows. Even I can *feel the sound of footsteps in this video. The disappearing snow on my face, the smell, freshness in the air, the soothing cold(only when it snows)................thank you so much for the footage. It means a lot than you think.

I went to New york last summer. I traveled a lot around the world, and Newyork was one of the best places I've been. I hope to go there again soon.

yeah the park is MASSIVE. there is a lot to do there and you can spend days of traveling through central park and seeing all the sights and doing all the activities.

@@LockOn7016 well obviously it's huge. It's where all the black people in that area lived after slavery before the city tore down their homes, kicked them out and made a park.
Being that I was born and raised in NYC, there's no place else in this country I would have wanted to be born in. The park is lovely all year round, so much to see and enjoy.

I was there once, we went to march in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade! I was only 16, but I told myself I’d move there when I got older! I joined the military and they had different plans, so I never made it there.
Central Park is lovely, no matter what season. So much to see and do there, but of course you have to be careful.

Super magical to hear so many different languages being spoken during an hour-walk in central park. Truly shows how multi-cultural this place is - something I love about this city and, this country, in general.
I listen to this every night and it always helps me sleep. I love the sounds of the city in the beginning, the wings of birds flying by, the snow softly hitting the other gathered snow on the ground, and just NY in general. Thank you so much for this. I love winter so much. ❤
13:00 it's ok, you're never too old to want to jump in the snow and have a snowball fight honestly think about it. At the end of the day the perception of how you view life comes down to you only. You can share your canvas with the love of your life, alone, family, and friends. Enjoy your health now that you are able to walk and view these things around you. There are many people that are not fortunate enough to enjoy this. Eventually everyone will leave this Earth with memories lived by you.

Love it...this one is really special. My favorite "living in the big city moments" are after a heavy snowfall when the traffic is slowed to a crawl and tire noises are muffled. I work in NYC for many yrs but the best part is around Central Park. I never get tired of the park, museums and cafes around this area

Camera quality is like a Hollywood movie, this is an iconic 4K walk and I’ve saved it to my list of most epic 4K walks
There are a lot of great cities in this world, but none compare to NYC. I love flying back from a trip and hearing all the people on the plane giggle with excitement as we approach the city. I try to play it cool because I live here, but I can't help it sometimes. I end up giggling with them as soon as I see Lady Liberty.

People should be cautious driving in snow if they are not accustomed to it.
I'm Australia/Canadian, and I admit my first time driving in the snow (Toronto, Canada) was somewhat nerve-racking, especially with my young family in the car. Proud to say I didn't lose control at all (saw a few locals in accidents though), and I got used to it after a few days. I found it about as hard as getting used to driving on the opposite side of the road than what you're accustomed to.
Same thing happens in the American South. An inch of snow and everything shuts down, except up in the Appalachians, where snow is common in winter. I love powerful winds and approaching storms, so I might enjoy Cornwall, if it is like that there.

Beautiful footage. I like that the fog along with the buildings gives a sense of monolithic scale. Also cool is when there’s enough light between the foreground and background you get a real sense of depth in the snowfall and the sounds that you only hear in the city like crosswalks really bring you into the experience. Still the best channel I have seen for this kind of video. So many details to take in and highly therapeutic.

I visited Central Park for the first time last October, during my first visit to New York City itself. The weather that day was nothing like this, but I get the sense that, in all types of weather, it is one of the world's magical places.

My mom used to work @ Gucci when we lived in NYC back in the late 70s. I remember riding the subway with her and eating hot chestnuts they sold on the street. They have since replaced the original location that had been opened since 1953.
