I despise Ken Livingstone, and of course the perpetrators should not be absolved of any blame whatsoever. What they did was worse than despicable.
But of course Blair was also culpable, and of course the ridiculous decision to illegally invade Iraq under false pretences, left us more vulnerable to tragic, terrorist attacks like 7/7.
Ken Clarke, the only high profile Tory MP with a seat in the Commons to oppose the invasion at the time, warned about this when making his speech at the time.

Ken mate, don't forget Peter Power. Peter Power had a 'terror drill' same stations at the same time that morning. Do a search. What's the chances?

So by the logic of Livingstone and those who agree with him, TERRORISTS are not responsible for THEIR OWN ACTIONS??
You can blame foreign policy all you want but blaming anyone other than them is like saying society is to blame for a burglar breaking into someone's house
GET A GRIP YOU SHAMEFUL APOLOGISTS

I agree with him. How is it that Clive Standen's line in Taken makes sense? You can't murder, rape, pillage, terrorise, destroy, destabilise and make a people beggar refugees in foreign lands and not expect atleast a few to retaliate.....

for a supposed "Philosopher" you certainly enjoy strawmanning him. he's not excusing them, his point is that by attacking other nations we should have entirely expected backlash from militant groups. it's very much the fault of tony blair that iraqis despie us.
