What a great family to know and do business with. Their handshake is as strong as any legal contract, and their word is good as gold! May God bless Stuart Ranch.

I know Clay and his family and they are hard working, salt of the earth people. It's a beautiful place to visit.

Somebody in the family needs to start a TH-cam channel. It's another money Avenue to keep the ranch going.

Pretty neat! Lovely family that are working through hardships in the world we live in; thats what I see here. They are much more independent than most of us, and that’s a good thing!

My Great grandmother was manager of a ranch in Dallas Texas 1870. She eventually moved to Panhandle and bought land. Lived in dugout house until railroad came thru which gave them access to wood. Tuff lady.

Land is extremely affordable in that part of the country so if your serious, have the internal fortitude, integrity, and serious work ethics, then go for it! Buy a little and build it up and buy more as you can, then you too can have this legacy to pass down. Did you hear where she says she gets up at 3 something in the morning, still?! It’s not for the lazy and unmotivated people.

Very cool story. I grew up in Maine on a lobster boat, was a hand on a ranch in Wyoming for a bit at a cow/calf & horse sale outfit. My wife and I are back in Maine and I’m back on the water so my wife and I could get our kids back to family but man, I miss the ranch. Awesome way of life. The government and their regulations are trying to stomp us out also. They seem to have a thing for resilient people.

I think we come from the same family and I found out because of this video. There's not many Stuart's with that spelling. Pretty cool. You guys are living my dream too. All I wanna do is live off the land. I'm in the city. I cant afford to live off the land🙏 tried, I got charged with " illegal camping". Its only camping if you're going back to work on Monday. When you're not, and you're poor, you're just a squatting homeless person. Sad world man.

Not many people are aware of the Oklahoma history. All of Okalhoma was promised to Native Americans who were forcibly removed from their lands. These people have no right being there.

But it’s a lot easier when you inherit a paid for ranch to start with.

True. She did say it was a privilege. I hope they truly understand how much of a privilege it is, and that they are decent humble people. I grew up in Oklahoma, and although I don't know these folks, I've known many like them, and some are humble, and hardworking, and others are arrogant, have arrogant children, and pay illegal labor to run their business.

    • @-sensibleChris
      @-sensibleChris 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@Hshxb Dhehs Most people work hard at their jobs, and businesses, and most start from scratch. They are not showing you the hired help here either. Most farms and ranches make enough money, and inherit a good enough business to hire people to do the work they don't prefer to do themselves, just like any other business. Most farmers, and ranchers where I grew up,and where I live now have the best of everything. 400k tractors, 120k4WD dually with upgraded everything, horse trailers that some humans would be happy to live in, etc. and at least some of that comes from government subsidies (welfare). When you inherit farm land, and cattle, it's more about not screwing it up than working hard to build it up. The ground work has already been done. They are stuards, and kudos to them for taking that part seriously.

@Hshxb Dhehs Well, I actually know this life, my grand parents, Uncle, Aunt, Cousins, and a few friends have lived this life. I know what I'm talking about. I'm not ge kind if person to chime in if I don't. You can take it, or leave it, I really don't give a damn.

I hate the left wing values of TH-cam. However it has been great for family farms.
