One thing that scares me a becoming indifferent/apathetic/numb to, or not having brokenness over, recurring sin. Before The Lord saved me from my pron addiction, that was the norm. Even now as a Christian, the temptation is still there (mainly bc I keep allowing provisions for my flesh/not taking this fight seriously, whether knowingly or unknowingly) and when I fall to it like I did today, I can feel that numbness start to creep back along with the doubts. It's definitely not a coincidence that I fall to this sin and then your video gets uploaded the same day not even an hour after. I needed this message today and The Lord is using this as a wake up call for me. Thank you brother Corey

Stand strong in Christ, brother. I had a pron addiction for about 27 years. I tried to quit so many times. Thankfully with the help of the Lord I've been free of it for 3 months and the desire to return is minimal. Unfortunately I'm now struggling with an even more disturbing sin, but I know that through faith and trust in our Lord Jesus Christ, I will overcome it too. I think one of my greatest anticipations of Heaven will be the freedom from the temptations of our sinful flesh and minds. I'll be praying for you.

@jjphank I understand that...do people not suffer for/from the sins they commit? Are they not weak, lacking if they sin? I know His grace is sufficient when I am suffering in Jesus' name. Your comment was to flex your scripture knowledge NOT to help anyone. This is why I don't like debating scripture with a fine tooth comb because you just threw out a whole group who may have gathered inspiration from that scripture driving them to dig deeper into God & His word. OUR job is to bring people to Christ at whatever level of understanding they are...GOD will work out the rest 🤦🏽‍♀️

I believe these verses should be the struggle of every sincere Christian. I think the difference between a believer and a non believer is the conviction from the Holy Spirit.
“So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.”

I used to struggle with this often. God helped me see that one cannot be tempted if he/she does not desire or lust after that particular thing. My prayer is to lose interest in the things I used to desire, so I can stand against the enemy. It's been working, but I know the enemy will research ither ways to get at me. The only way we can overcome is to put our trust in the Lord. We will not always win, but God knows our hearts. My biggest fear is to be at the point where sin doesn't convict me. I think a person is lost at that point if he/she can sin and not care anymore.

However, he is now thanking Jesus for delivering him from sin and the powers of sin and the sinful nature. As a born again believer we have overcome the power of the sinful nature of the flesh. Rom 6 explains how we overcome sin.

What every Christian needs to know is that they’ve been born again and given the power to overcome any kind of sin and to be completely dead to it, which we are called to be. No Christian is meant to go their whole life struggling against sin, which many actually believe they will. You get completely free from sin by maturing in Christ, which is the main problem for many Christians stuck in sin, they walk in the flesh instead of the Spirit and then wonder why they keep having to deal with sin. If you don’t grow up and mature in the word of God then yeah you will be stuck continually in sin which is not what God wants

Romans 7:15-24 is Paul's experience under the Law. [He speaks in the present tense for dramatic effect.] This should be clear after reading Romans 6-8 as a solid block of context.
Sin should be a rare anomaly in the Christian's life. We may struggle with temptation from time to time, but we should not be struggling with sin on a regular basis.

And no one is without sin, lest we boast. So in that we can and will boast in the Lord! Therefore since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, that no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lust of men, but for the will of God....since Christ suffered physically, you to must strengthen yourselves with the same way of thinking that he had, because he who suffers physically is no longer involved with sin. From now on, then, you must live the rest of your earthly lives controlled by Gods will and not by human desires....Jesus answered them, most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave to sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the son makes you free, you shall be free indeed....sin is serious and that is how we should see it. If someone has the mindset that they will always sin so why bother??? That is what many teach, they never warn against doing evil wickedness Ezekiel3:18-21.....

My biggest sin problem was always addiction.
I started at such a young age (10), so even my childhood memories are all of me using drugs.
The further I get away and the longer I abstain the better it gets, but its alot like Pandora's box. Once you open it and know about it, you can't un-know it.
My desire for it is based on the lie that it makes me feel good. It does feel good, but you are also in pain all the time. Most sins have a very short "fun period" follows by sadness, regret, and emptiness

Paint guilt red and Put guilt in a box.
A Christian and all others will sin, but there is a huge difference between a Christian and all others that do not believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; all others are not Christians covered by the blood shed on Calvary, that Jesus Christ is the lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world, even those that do not believe: those are condemned in themselves.

Surrender daily….crucify the flesh daily….Read and Study daily….Pray daily! I heard it put this way and it’s kinda funny but true😂🥴The problem with a living sacrifice is that it keeps crawling off the alter! Keep putting yourself back on that alter🙏🏾And by all means we have to stop making provisions for our flesh. Often times, if we’re honest, we can be our biggest enemy. Those things in our lives that trip us up…we have to do away with. Stop walking that fine line just to see how far you can go without falling in.
Matthew 5:29-30 says it best….drastic measures must be taken to avoid sin.
29 If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. Ecclesiastes 7:20
For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
    King James Version (KJV)
I also know it is written in Ecclesiastes 7:20 that there is not a just man upon earth that doeth good and sinneth not hence why God's Grace comes to abound and set us free from what made us lost before being translated to found.

There is a reason why Paul referred to David and specifically a post Bathsheba Psalm in Romans 3. According to the Law of Moses, there was no sacrifice for cover the sins of adultery and first degree murder, instead there was only stoning. Despite this, David was a man after God’s heart.

What we need to remember guys is sin was dealt with at the cross. All of our sin debt for hell was paid by the blood of Jesus. Putting our faith and trust in the finished work of the cross, believing Jesus is the son of God we have everlasting life! God bless you all.

Brother Corey, do we not freely keep on sinning, whosoever will, with our freely given will? Is this not loving SELF, more than GOD ALMIGHTY, which makes us sinners, and bait in the hands of that one going about as a roaring lion, seeking to destroy, to steal, and to kill! Isn't this so when we refuse to do like Christ JESUS of Nazareth, and yield our ALL? Will not TOTAL YIELDING to GOD ALMIGHTY only come with obedience to Matthew 22:37-39; Mark 12:30-31; Luke 10:27; (AKJV Bible), so as to escape "Depart from me" at that final call? Isn't our life's ETERNITY summed up at 1 Peter 4:17-19 (AKJV Bible), with our obedience or our disobedince choosing which it will be? Whether we say YES or whether we say NO, isn't either that new Paradise Heaven and Earth, or tormenting Hell, going to be our never-ending ETERNITY? So then, are we Revelation 14:10-12 and Revelation 20:10-12; choosing to continue in sin? Or, are we participants of Revelation 21:1-4, choosing to live Matthew 4:1-4; Luke 4:1-4, 1 Peter 4:1-4, so as to be given "Well done," and then enter in. Well? Paradise, or Hell? Right, Brother Corey? AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!
PS: Brother Corey, have you heard from our elder brother Paul, at Romans 6:1-23; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Galatians 5:16-21; Ephesians 5:1-5; Galatians 5:24? (Also AKJV Bible, as translated out of the original tongues).
