What a great channel, we get a great video every single day! ! Makes me want to morning drink :D And... the staff is such a cutie-pie LOL Thanks again you two ! !
thank you, just having fun at the end of the world each day. thansk
The boss must love that loader, since it can work all day without a single “brake”! 😅
Bit of an "OOPS, THAT FELL OFF." day, but all went well in the end. WELL DONE GUYS AND STAY SAFE.😂👏👍
thank you, the seat never fell off last winter because it was frozen in to place. oh well thansk
Good morning from Cape Cod ⛵ you got everything lined up nicely, now you need some of those little flag banners the string across the front row of your caterpillar sales lot 😀 the loader that you depend upon in almost every video I've watched seems to be in need of some attention Joey 😞 no brakes, can't steer when it gets warm, what else needs to go wrong before you get to it. I figured I'd mention it in case you run out of stuff to do and get bored around there 😉😂 Oh and Xena, nice to see your smiling face again today 😀 thanks for all the hard work you guys put into bringing such awesome content 👍✌️🇺🇲🇨🇦
the loader is actually not worth fixing, i have tossed so much money at the machine over the years for the brakes to only work a couple of weeks then quit. after i bought the machine for $15,000.00 in 1993, i sent it south tot he caterpillar dealer who charged me $18,000.00 to fix the brakes with everything being new. 2 weeks later the brakes quit and caterpillar told me that is was an old machine so not their problem. the steering is the steering column itself with water getting in the horn button then creeping down to rust in side to get it to bind. we have been soaking it down and slowly getting better. as i get older the loader is being used less and less and we did buy a forklift to replace it but that perkins motor was junk and never started. thansk
You have much to be proud of. Pretty daughter, lots of things to tinker with ,
“Tinker” is just the staff’s lingo. Joey is a true welder, builder and, of course, a great mechanic. Writer, storyteller, vlogger, video producer and humorist too!
yes i raised the staff with common sense and a good work attitude too thansk
So many projects. Everything getting worked on and prepped for winter. Excellent !!!
With all the organizing and neatening done, the Kingdom looks good. 😎
Morning from Gagetown, great video like always KoO. The kingdom is looking great. Looking forward to seeing Bigfoot haul a sleigh someday. Hope everyone has a great day.
Excellent Joey my 97 f350 power stroke running great u know that is supposed to be international engine beer & cheers 🥂 😊
yes it is the block is based on the 345 gas motor by IH thansk
OK King of Obsolete, and Xena! Nice to see a face to go along with the voice over young lady. Thank you. And what a lovely face you have. It seems strange to me to be getting ready for winter in July. I 'm still working on getting ready for summer. Thanks for showing us how it's done. I've run fork trucks and wheel loaders, but only in a building or on loading docks. I looks a little dicey on unlevel ground. Thank you both for a few minutes of bliss from "Up North." ben./ michigan
yes winter for us is not very far away so we have to get ready. if we are not ready then it costs 4 times as much to do anything in the snow thansk
Those Cat sixes have beat of their own! Great update!
I find the temperature swings VERY unique and appreciate them.
yes a sound all there own even better with a straight pipe exhaust. we have always included the weather and how different it is up here. we also enjoy seeing how others live in the extreme heat too. thansk
They need to make those loaders again 🤘
they should re-make the 1970s caterpillar 950 machines, those were good machines thansk
I like your organization you do an awesome job thank you for the video
thank you, took a while to figure out being organized means less time looking and finding things thansk
U guys are gona run out of stuff to do before winter lol 😊
never, like a wife there will always be more to be on the "Honey Do List", lol thansk
Much respect to you , you always reply to comments and questions ! curious , you mentioned in one of your other videos that the TD 14 did not work well as a freighting cat why is that? all the best to you and the staff !
thank you, we are the learning channel and lots of people read and learn through the comments like i do. the TD-14 did not have the power to weight ratio to pull winter freighting sleighs that was why it was never a winter freighting cat. thansk
I still think that loader should have a name. Despite its problems, it still has lots of Grunt.
I've asked before about the transmission, now may I ask about the steering? I did not know there was such a thing as coolers for steering until I inherited my present wheels (from the divorce). The car has power steering, and I have never seen a vehicle prior to this one (built 2000) that had or needed a PS cooler. Of course the OEM one began to leak. I have an updated OEM cooler fabri-cobbled into where it can get some air flow, but unlikely to get hit by debris.
Perhaps The Loader needs a line cooler to help keep the temp of the steering fluid down? They are nothing more than what we remumble as oil coolers or transmission fluid coolers (before they put them in with the radiator). I guess you could EngiNerd an elec fan on to one to force airflow past the fins, but my guess is that The Loader doesn't generally run all day so merely having an auxiliary cooler somewhere in the power steering lines would help somewhat with cooling the PS fluid.
All that said, I don't believe you have ever shown The Loader getting any love, other than parking it inside. Perhaps it's coming due for an oil change and a grease job? Let's show the old girl a little love, and no, I'm not talking about the ex-wife.
the loader has always been known as the loader for some reason. the steering column is binding because water got down and formed a little rust. we have been lubing it up and slowly getting better. the loader is not worth spending money on it since it gets used less and less each year. thansk
Enjoy watching your videos every one of them. If I wanna send you a package where would I send it to. I just watch the videos and pay attention to what you say and how to do the things that you are working on and that is all.
His postal address is in the description text box thingy. Can you see Less Nessman? 😅

thank you, we are just having fun. thansk postal address ---- King of Obsolete, Box 372, Lynn Lake Manitoba, r0b 0w0, Canada
Holy Hell king the seat fell off that cat. Good thing you were not in it. Your lucky day.
moved the cat around last winter and it never fell off because it was frozen in to place, oh well, lol thansk
King Joey how much hp does the TD18 have vrs D6 9u
they are about the same weight but the D6 9U is low to the ground and will get hung up in deep snow. the TD-18 are know for being able to snow shoe through deep snow with higher ground clearance thansk
AS LONG AS YOU AND THE STAFF ARE SAFE, ALL IS WELL. GREAT FUN WATCHING YOURE PROGRESSS. THANKS.
thank you, we have to work safe and play safe when living at the end of the world thansk
