Looks like a lot of fun! Your 2 stroke is just about perfect for this, lightweight and easy to maneuver around through and over the obstacles! Do they offer a flywheel weight for your bike? These will help out with the slower sections and provide more traction too. It looks like your wrist is doing good (I hope!) Have fun and ride safe! :)
@@TwoWheelsAndAPonytail yea flywheel weights will slow the revs on the motor and it adds momentum to keep the motor from stalling too so when you are navigating slower sections this makes the motor more tractable and less prone to stalling so you can keep.your momentum on the trail.
Trust your bike, total commitment and leave your brain at home. I have 40+ years of falling off with no style, you have decades of practice ahead of you. Stay safe and take care of the scaphoid !

That terrain reminds me of riding in Japan...wish I still had access to that type of dirt! :-) This is the terrain and guys I ride with mostly (Las Vegas NV area): th-cam.com/video/NlLiCLzm9uQ/w-d-xo.html Hills Attack Mental Tip for your training program: Reprogram yourself to remember that when you chop the throttle on a hill it is like chopping the throttle and hitting the brakes on flat terrain (you de-accel very quickly). Your flat terrain preprogrammed throttle chop is way more than what is needed on hills...and especially so as the hills get steeper. I'd try and only release the throttle a minimal amount when you feel the urge to chop the throttle on a hill (this is why the pros do not chop the throttle...they pull in the clutch when the would need to chop the throttle. It provides two things: Keeps engine in higher RPMs and allows them to more quickly control the amount of power going to the rear wheel. Riders should develop (including myself) a chop throttle technique just for hill climbs (if not controlling power via clutch)...it takes a lot of mental reprogramming to retrain your muscle/reflex memory...but you will notice a massive difference when tackling longer hill climbs (even short ones should feel easier/more confident). Watch and listen to the first two hills you climb at the beginning of the video...you will notice chop throttle and quick loss of momentum.
Hmmm.....🤔.....at the risk of sounding like an annoying father, I did noticed the missing wrist brace in the beginning which magically appeard around 2min in......tsk tsk, don't wait for signs of discomfort before you put it on, just put it on from the get go 🙏. 😳😞 holy moly see that guy in front of you with blue jacket, that is exactly how you don’t not want to ride, do not lean with the bike, stay upright and let the bike lean under you and move your but over so you sitting on edge of seat, that way you won’t trip over or spin out. Send me a PM or your email and I can send you picture of what I mean so it makes sense🤔 . It’s all about centre of balance, it’s not a street bike 🙂
