The Buddha said, paying attention to miracles and powers was nothing else but a distraction for the disciples striving to realize the truth. The students themselves have to work for their liberation through purification of the lower self and not be tempted to fall into the trap of developing powers. IE, all distractions in regards to understanding the true nature of one self and the universe blind us to the truth, that all things due to dependent arising, have no inherent existence from their own side, or in other words all matter is merely oscillating light frequency's and our senses are the receivers, we put this data into a construct reality with our minds, and we operate in this reality according to it's laws, but hey lets spit diamonds out of our mouth, and read with our eyes blindfolded... That won't bring enlightenment, only constant rebirth and suffering due to ignorance...Blessings to all...
