My whole perspective about Shiv ji has changed because of this show. Shiv is my fav God now. Hats of to Ramyashvardhan as Shiv whose expression through eyes is amazing. I can picture Shiv through him
I believe I have seen almost all shows based on Shiv and in my opinion three actors stand out on parameters of performance and looks as Shiv, they are Mohit Raina, Saurabh Raj Jain and Ram Yashwardhan. At first I thought the way mohit had played Shiv, no one can match that, he truly created history as that show is most loved mythological show about Shiv till date. But then came show Mahakali and Saurabh really nailed the role of Shiv. I didn't think it was even possible to imagine anyone else other than Mohit raina in that role and watch it being played with perfection but saurabh did full justice to it. Now came Ram, when I was sure that now no one can surprise me in this role anymore, Ram just proved me wrong again. He is doing fantastic job. Mohit, Saurabh and Ram all are good in their time, in their shows. There can be no comparison. All have different looks and styles of acting but all have made an huge impact on viewers as playing Shiv. Right now I am loving Ram as Shiv. His looks, personality and voice really add to his performance and those eyes....God! His eyes are enough to convey emotions. I guess its the beauty and magic of Shiv himself that any actor who plays the role becomes iconic.
