Many thanks to Mike for his very rich and inspiring comments about these magnificent Bronze Gongs which are truly amazing. When visiting Paiste Home Center in Nottwill, Switserland, aka « Gong Paradisium », i fell immediately in love with No 2 & a bit later with No 4. It took me quite some time to find Paiste Gong Centers in Europe who had them available… so i practiced patience for quite a while ! Alter a few monthes, finally they « landed home ». To my surprise i had some trouble in the beginning to mix them with my « regular » set as they react & sound really appart comparing to the Classic series. Now it is a real extatic experience to add these outerwordly « voices » to the large « Earth Sound creation » and « Sun ». I do « resonate » totally with Mike’s commentaries. A real blessing to watch, learn and receive bountiful & practical info from GONGTOPIA. Once more many thanks. Antoine
They are a bit different sound & feel than the other Paiste gongs or B20 Asian gongs. It took me a while to start to understand them and how to work with them. I'm glad you were able to experience them and find what works with your set up.
Hello, Michael! I don't have any bronze Paiste gongs. And I was very interested to learn more about them. Thank you for the detailed video review. It is very valuable to me to receive your comments and recommendations. And I also think that a natural patina adorns the bronze.
