I don't get it. It's called a "cold" air intake but the air is taken in exactly the same as stock. It doesn't even clear any restrictions. So basically the only change is blocking the secondary intake to change the sound.
Because the stock form is a cold air intake. Everything else is most likely a hot air intake. Wether or not it clears up any restrictions doesnt change the fact wether or not it is a cold air intake
but if ya halfass it an cut intake instead of replacing motor mounts wont ya be adding cost of replacing said too short hose when also doin motor mounts?

If the engine is sagging REPLACE the engine mounts - don't cut the intake hose.
