- Dive with me into the fresh Mini Brands Create series!🍴 Surprisingly, they chose a unique name, steering away from the expected Mini Brands MasterChef tag. Straight up - it seems like Mini Brands is taking a leaf out of MiniVerse's book with the resin DIY kits. But the big question: are they any better? 🧐
Some parts outshine, while others could use a tweak. Naturally, I've sprinkled in my personal touch to make them uniquely awesome (or at least, I tried! 😜).

I am in between with mini brands and mini verse
I loved this. My suggestion (probably not popular) would be to make a beautiful "mistake" on a recipe- such as spilled ingredients around the dish or bowl. Or even a dessert bowl or cup tipped over & melting & making a mess.🙂
I actually love that idea! I wonder which mini in the collection would look best that way - maybe the parfait or if GB gets another ramen to experiment with :)

I think for children having a disposable UV light is a great idea. Especially since they will get one in each ball. We have to remember these are actually made for ages 8 and up
That’s pretty neat. I don’t have a light, so this would fix that, and I can try a new craft! (I think of these as crafts haha)😊
To a point I agree, but they can use the sun. I think the fact these are throw away and will be sitting in landfills seeping battery and plastic crap, is a point against them.
Yeah, I agree with @remusgrrrl! MiniVerse was a little better about this although not ideal.🤔 They suggest you use the sun, however, in addition to that MiniVerse should've released a MiniVerse-branded UV light to sell on the side, for the teens/adults that collect these.💛
@@GBKuhleenminiverse offers a UV light in their kitchen playset oven, so they give you the option of the sun or their uv light oven
I think it probably takes too long for holding the light that comes with the kit. It's probably better to have a quicker time because kids shouldn't be staring into UV light to begin with. Parents should probably still be supervising while kids are creating with these kits.
Yay! Finally a honest straight forward factual review! I 100%percent agree you with you regarding that chef hat UV light. It’s cute and all but what a waste. Maybe they should have made a mini cloth one for a doll. That would have been cute and useful. I love what you did with the cheesecake.
I very much look forward to what you think of that whipped cream. BTW heads up.. it gets half empty and you will use all your muscle power to get the rest. Tip, make the stuff you want to hold its shape and look cute first.

1. I’m a little mad about the whole fact that it’s VERY similar to make it mini
2. I really thought that if mini brands ever were to create a make it mini that they would use they’re advantage of being able to use all those real life brands like Pringles or Pizza Hut. All those brands could have been used to make even more realistic minis instead they’re all master chef
3. I love how GB always give honest reviews and I like when you compare mini brands with mini verse. I also like how u always add your own spin to the minis
4. Like GB said in a short “we love how mini brands is realistic brands and we love mini verse for they’re interactiveness” now however they feel awfully similar

@@asmrtpop2676 as someone diagnosed with OCD I can say it does tend to manifest different for all people. Myself? In this case it doesn't set off my OCD. Do I hate it for preference reasons? Yes. But my OCD is numbers based texture based so this doesn't set it off.
I guess what I'm trying to say is while there's a chance they don't have OCD, it should never be dismissed or assumed false because it can manifest in many ways based on someone's own brain chemistry. I get irrationally upset at odd numbers and if my brain processes that it's odd I hate it. My brain flat out starts screaming that it's wrong, unlucky, and that I need to fix it now. Someone else with OCD may have the irrational urge to flick a light switch 5 times before they leave their room because ur brain insists something bad happens if you don't.
Some people have more or less debilitating cases of OCD. My own used to be way worse but my therapist worked with me to make it manageable.

I was so excited when I woke up this morning to see another video!
▪25:21 For the Strawberry Cake, it would be amazing to have one of those puffs in the bowl on the spoon with some of the chocolate glaze running down the spoon in a frozen moment, and then have a strawberry kind of falling off the spoon or sliding off the puff at the same time. These minis look so good!
▪I do agree the little UV light should have been sold separately that is higher quality and either have it chargeable or battery powdered. I'm sure people who are invested into these brands wouldn't mind owning an offical UV light made by Mini-Brands ect.
▪I love how you always put a twist on each one, watching you do this really taps into my creative side which makes me want to find one of these myself and do my own version as well! I'd really love to know what your set up looks like, because i've been struggling for years to figure out a good set up for lights for my own videos. Any advice would be awesome!
▪What you did with the chop sticks was so awesome!!! The whole mini is posed the way someone would actual eat Ramen with the spoon to help not spill any broth!

My setup is not fancy, just a table with a colored background (or not in this video) and then 2 lights on the side, one in the front facing the table. One thing that would make your life easier when it comes to lighting, is to get the ones that are dimmable/adjustable. This way you can play around with the levels until you get it exactly how you want it to look.😊

For the cherry chocolate cake you could try and make it like a cherry filled cake with cherries and cherry goo coming out the center and slicing 2 pieces of cake to really sell the cherry filling idea !
For any of the other ones seeing one that looks like it’s been eaten or gotten into would be cool! Can make for some dynamic scenes and experiments to see how much you can alter the mini !

The cheesecake is SO cute. Honestly, doesn’t matter which is better. I’m gonna Frankenstein them both together in the end just like you did. That MB ramen was so anticlimactic after getter the one from MV. When I saw the chasu, I was so excited. But the onion and noodles… ughhhhhh. I will absolutely be remaking that with the Miniverse ramen, hell or high water 😤😆

Your customization was great as always! I think the MiniVerse ingredients packaging is so much cuter than the badly printed paper pouches used in these kits. If you ever get the apple pie, I'd love to see if you could cut a slice out of it like you did with the cheesecake. It makes more sense to put a slice on a plate with some melty ice cream on top, than it does to put the ice cream on top of an entire pie.

I got into collecting mini brands because of your videos. Its so fun to watch you create because it gives me ideas. I think the cheese cake looks good but honestly the almonds do look like sesame seeds. When the first layer went on it kind of looked like a buger bun but once it all came together it looked much better!!

Ideas. 1- stack cake, heart cake and cupcake on top of each other. 2- make chocolates add to cake. 3 - some how make chocolate fondue. 4- make the tilting cake held up by broom stick. 5- brake a bowl and have a soup mess. 6- look at cake pictures and do a unicorn cake.
7- if you have Berger one add pork loin roast. 8- if you have turkey see if you can add thyme (plant) stuffing. 9- chocolate profiteroles bowls good for soup.
Also look at what ppl do in real life. The Mango & Passion Fruit Mousse Cake looks really nice and would love to see you do some thing like that.
10- add a spilt drink over/on a book. 11- add a fashion item to a cake. 12- add hummingbird to flower in vase or flower in drink.

If you multiple chocolate profiteroles make a croquembouche tower with flowers or berries and spun sugar around it.
If you have a cherry chocolate cake try making a square opéra cake.

One thing that i guess is good with the DIY minis is that even if you get duplicate, you can still make it unique, potentially mix n match with others duplicate.

I do agree with the comments on the UV chef light that’s included. I do think it was a waste, but a nice idea if you could replace the batteries. But maybe be able to buy one separately that is stronger and can have the batteries replaced, like you stated. Or the hat only comes in the super rare, with the option to change the batteries or recharge. I wonder if it’s so weak to be child safe. A child shining a strong UV light might burn their eyes. Granted, a child who is going to shine a UV light straight into their eyes probably shouldn’t be handling resin then.
I didn't think about that point of view -- safety for kids. But you are right, resin or that fake whipped cream shouldn't be handled by really young kids anyway.🤔

You did an incredible job on creating these dishes. My boyfriend and I were not a huge fan of the white paint on the chopsticks as it seemed very wateryish instead of being a solid white, but that's okay. I recommend getting some Uni Posca markers as they're basically paint in a pen/marker form! Thank you for sharing your review on the new product, I hope to see more!

First I'd like to say I love your vids.
Now for the cheesecake idea. I would decorate it all as whole and before setting it with UV light, I would separate the slice with the server. That way, I think, would look as it would naturally.

Inspired by another of your creations, you can try and make more of the "fallen over" types. For example the dishes in bowls and such. A destroyed cake could also be fun, but not quite sure how that would be 🤔
Yeah, I think that's what I'm going to do.😄 Whenever I can't come up with a different way to make it, I'll just turn it into a frozen moment 'disaster'.😅
My suggestions.
My first suggestion for a dish might be a little bit complicated. For the stuffed pork loin and roasted potatoes dish, use a fork and a knife, cut a piece from one of the pork loins and stick it on the fork. Making it look like you have cut a piece from the pork loin and then rest the fork and knife on each side of the plate.
If you don't want to cut, then make the fork and knife stand on one of the slices as if you are just about to start cutting a piece.
For my second suggestion, take the strawberry short cake and use the cake parts from it and stuffs from miniverse to make a funny birthday cake with a slice taken from it, so the middle filling is shown. You could make it like a little kid designed and helped making their own birthday cake.

As far as the different creations go, with any cake you could try to do a slice like you did this time. Or what about putting a slice on a separate small plate with a cup of hot beverage nearby to make a little place setting? Fruit tart you could put the fork on it's side as though someone is cutting into it with side of fork to separate out a small bite to pick up. Again I would put it on its own plate to look like a serving. Love what you did with both the kits you used here.

Definitely do the cherry chocolate cake because it has an entirely different texture of resin. Personally, I don’t think you have to make them all different if you can’t come up with an idea of how to, I just think it’s relaxing to watch them be made

Awww, I'm so glad to hear that. There are others out there that say the same thing. It honestly gives me a motivation boost every time I feel too tired to work on a video.
I am disappointed that they are stingy with the sprinkles and other ingredients so you cant do any other recipes.... Also the little light is way too big and heavy and at that size should have a rechargeable battery inside and should be sold separately because the people that collect these dont want a bunch that are disposable and thats even more trash and batteries in the landfills 😢

I can tell you on the strawberry layer cake there is not enough whipped cream. Use the paintbrush trick in that middle layer to have enough for dollops on the top. I saw another do them and she ran out before the top dollops. I can’t wait to see how you change it up. Too cool my friend

It's beautiful cheesecake. Great job. As for the light, I get they want to let people have a UV light. But it's a non reusable piece of trash in every capsule. I agree, sell one on the side.

Yes ! I think selling the light separately would be good. They are not that expensive. I can get a uv nail lamp at dollar tree for 1.25. ? So....and it takes batteries that they also sell ❤

I definitely agree that selling the UV light on the side is better ! At first ngl when I first was introduced to Mini verse, I assumed that UV light is a very necessary thing after seeing these lil master chef hat/ light thingies I got really happy coz it looked so cute from a marketing pov but then when I realised that it can actually be just left under the sun, I realised what an enormous waste it is. Especially for the environment atleast the paper bags u can recycle but these lights and plastics, u can't do anything about it :( so def feels like an unnecessary and impulse mktg tactic with no actual functional use ! Everything else about the cooking ingredients is so good and very detailed, I love that a lot.

The MB create series is what helped me find your channel. That and mistakenly purchasing a miniverse version thinking it was the same thing. I really liked how you completely customize the items. I’m conflicted on the UV light included because I didn’t have one prior to opening the sets. I found it is fine for the MB sets, but it was miserable with the MV appliance sets. Will need to upgrade if I buy more 😂

I've bought 30 diner series 2 balls trying to get the ramen, I'VE NEVER GOTTEN IT! In fact 25 of the balls were desserts. I started buying the masterchef ones from minibrands in hopes of getting their ramen but the nearest store that sells them (and I live in a big suburb in Dallas County Texas) is 19 miles away.
Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that. Look online for the pinhole cheat sheet for MiniVerse -- it will make sense once you see it. It's like a guaranteed way to get what you need, and it's kind of a new thing.

Yea, cause even if it's your 1st time using these or the other Miniverse. Wherever you buy these, I think you can also grab a cheap little UV light. We definitely don't need one in every ball.

I think for the cakes, you should do something similar like with the cheesecake, by cutting a slice of cake before building. For the chocolate mousse one, find some cake pieces from make it mini food, and make a parfait, and add some chocolate pieces like from the box of chocolates or from Wonka bars, or both, after you make them.
