yea, and also, even though goliaths are terran's anti-air unit, their attacks only deal 50% damage to mutalisks since its an explosive damage and mutalisks are small size units
I dont think alot of people realize there was more than just the fast irradiated muta that turned the game into Jaedong's favour. Flash stimmed way too much, you can see the moment before he irradiated the muta that Jaedong's mutalisks were overruning Flash's marines, so to say Jaedong would've lost is a huge understatement. You can see even when Flash irradiated the mutas, he had about 4 marines left, and lings were coming in fast. Jaedong played a solid game and it's wrong to say he got lucky.
피 없는 뮤탈한테 이레딧 건 것이 아니라 이레딧 건 뮤탈을 일점사해서 금방 죽었음.
게다가 아무리 이레딧이 유지가 됐다고 해도 이제동이 순식간에 뮤탈을 펼치는 장면이 나왔고 마린이 스팀팩 남용으로 피가 많이 줄어든 상황에서 뮤탈 때문에 수가 많이 줄었기에 어짜피 이길 수가 없는 상황.

To all those saying unlucky irradiate, if you watch the vid closely, you'll see that the moment the irradiate is used, some of the marines from the upper clump snipe the muta thats been affected. The irradiate would have lasted longer otherwise...

@FlipPTW the look on his face is wtf, he says moya which means wtf in korean and it's extremely difficult to pin point a mutalisk because mutalisk was stacked. And also the build he chose does not rely on luck, he's 90% more likely to not choose the mutalisk with that low of hp considering there is at least 9 mutalisks in that stack. Nevertheless, you will never know what woulda happened if the irradiate was on diff mutalisk.
why even talk about the irradiate. he just lost a full control group of marines from overstimming.. he had like 4 left, and a ctrl group of speedlings on the way. unless the irridiate killed all of the muta's, the game was over because how would he even kill the weak mutas?

Some people obviously cant admit their favorite player made a mistake.
Lets just assume that its not possible to make sure you irradiate a muta with full hp. Isn't it then risky to choose a build that heavily relies on exactly that full irradiate when there are other good builds around that don't have this risk?
자세히보니 메딕 마나가 다떨어진듯. 마린이 쿠션에 막뒤지고 홀컨에 두세마리씩 죽내. 스팀 무리하게 많이쓰다가 망한케이스. 하긴 당시 이제동뮤탈 상대로 스팀아끼는것도 무리한 주문이기는 하다만

@Gagigagu I'm a fan of Jaedong.. and even for me, I think it was lucky.. though it's also partly Flash's fault. Should have been more conservative with his marines. But JD is looking very convincing recently nonetheless.
when i saw flash going for science vessel at such an early stage, i kinda knew it's gonna cost his game..true enough! Then again, it's a real high gamble actually..
Flash failed to block his ramp as well, letting a dozen lings runby and into the main to support the mutas. Luck is always going to be a little of a factor when two incredibly good players like this face off. One little thing goes wrong and the opponent is likely to capitalize to the point of winning the game.

Not switch at all,just split some to counter,flash knew about the mutas,but he cant hold it,and aint simply hold a line of mutalisks with marines and turrets,mainly if happens the same we see here.

The irradiate would have delayed JD's harass due to splitting by maybe 3 seconds max unless he had a stroke during that irradiate (assuming he recognized it). FlaSh didn't go turret happy OR even try to add a delayed 3rd rax after the Starport because he was so damn greedy. So

@fatfail96923 it wasn't the irradiate that won the game though, it was the overstim of marines - flash's mistake. Irradiate could have survived for longer and it wouldn't have turned things around at that point.
