My favourite hero in Mobile Legends is Hylos. I have a relatively slow reaction and hence the fast finger type of heroes are not suitable for me. I like Hylos because it is simple to understand and it allows me to focus on the flow of the game instead of the hero's technical execution.
My playstyle is to use it as a Roamer or the EXP lane as a second choice. I generally like to help out the jungler in the early game to get his buffs before sticking to our mid-lane mage to rotate and help out in the gold lane. My opinion is that the EXP lane heroes are difficult to heal as most of them are fighters and has some kind of self-sustainability, hence i rarely roam to the EXP lane.
My highest rank achieved is Mythical Immortal at 137 stars and Global Rank 4 as a Hylos. I play solo queue most of the time and occasionally duo or trio with online friends on my friend list. My solo queue win rate is around 58-60%.
My choice of emblem is the Common Emblem because it gives hybrid regeneration. Mana regeneration is important to me as Hylos because it is not optimal to cast skills using HP as a Hylos because you will not be able to tank a lot of damage in the late game.
My talents used:
Agility - 4% movement speed
Wilderness Blessing - 10% bonus movement speed in Jungle or River
Concussive Blast - AOE magic damage on next basic attack.
These talents allow me to always have mana regeneration and superior movement speed when roaming and I will be able to kite and juke the enemy heroes to waste their skills on me and be able to weave in and out of battles.
The Item Builds:
Warrior Boots (when there is a fast hitting marksman) / Tough Boots (When there are a lot of crowd control heroes) / Rapid Boots (When there are heroes without CC but has slow effects)
Dominance Ice - to reduce healing or sustain
Thunderbelt - slow on basic attack and grow hybrid defense indefinitely.
Blade Armor - against most fast hitting marksman
Guardian Helmet - fast hp regeneration outside of battle
Antique Cuirass - against heroes that uses skills as main source of damage
Radiant Armor - against mages with multiple instances of magic damage
Twilight Armor - against burst sources of damage such as Aldous, Lesley, Dyrroth.
Cursed Helmet - against squishy enemy line-up

and ngl i really like the last push you do with hylos+lord almost never fails to end the game if my team actually tower locked
@@arisxa4118 Yup the pathway across the nexus is always a good zoner when lord is approaching
I’m gonna try Terizla this season, I think he’s doing good despite his early-game nerf, I can feel the spike in early-game now.

why you prefer mana regen and movement spd over def emblems? i had thought hylos can still use his skills without mana, so can you please tell me how mana regen is better for him.
@@upthesky730 You are right Hylos can use skills even when he has no mana. Safe for me to assume you are using tank emblem so far. Are you experiencing most of the moments in game where your mana is non-existent after a teamfight? However you don’t really want to recall since your health is pretty full or decent.
If you are using health to use his skills, what about the enemies hitting you? it is draining your health using Skill 2 and the enemies also know you are using health to cast them. They will just target you and focus you down.
My mana regeneration concept is a survival concept, it regenerates as I roam from lane to lane, and I always have some level of mana before each fight so that my health is not under pressure.
As for movement speed, my tanking principle is, never take a punch if I can dodge one. Higher ms helps me evade certain enemy skills. Eg. baiting enemies to use skills and misjudge my speed and I can evade them.

@@gavintai1 I was deciding the build as the game progresses, I didn’t decide if I wanted the CoD or not so the elegant gem was not built earlier. Still experimenting build sequence in this patch.

@@faf_911 Not ideal. Magic power does not significantly increase Hylos damage, 10% spellvamp is not useful, the 300hp and 7% movement speed is all right. The passive slow takes 3 seconds to stack up 3 times, that is too long.

I remember you said: tank should not play like punching-bag, learn to avoid getting hit.. that why you didnt get Radiant for magic defence? cause i noticed Chang'er still can hurt Hylos and her ulti can melt your hp..
@@rebornchan64 I made CoD over Radiant because I didn’t plan to get hit by her, as you can see I always run her down. If i made Radiant, to get my stacks up, I will need to get hit.

1. avoid Karrie Skill 1 as you approach her
2. Don’t use your skill 1 stun and vengeance together. Skill 1 stun, wait for Karrie Ult and then press vengeance.

dealing 3 times more damage than your teams mm, means one of the following
your mm is shit(having no sense of positioning and map awareness, therefore couldn't build up late game momentum)...
or the team is shit(unable to dominate/or at least stalls their lanes by themselves forcing the roamer to provide cover for them instead of late game cary/the mm)...
or the roamer is shit(unable to provide cover for the mm desipite the team is winning all other lane)...
