- There are a bunch of hidden mechanics in NBA 2K24 that 2K didn't really tell you about, some of them are from past 2Ks, but some of them are new! These might change the way you play NBA 2K24, as some of these moves are really powerful!
2k needs just to update some facescans. Bring back bright court reflections and get rid of those shit city. Focus more on the story and offline modes. The multiplayer and its community has ruined this game in years. It’s a SHAME.

@@DomEverythingEZ Imagine how good Myera could be if they actually out effort into it. Like getting all the players including the old eras rookie models and have them age through out the years with changing models.
They have it now but only for players like Shaq, MJ ECT. So much potential.
@@DomEverythingEZ the pro play not that bad but also non so game changing like they said. The details in this game used to make a difference: reflections, updates, awesome blacktop court, the parks, awesome storymodes till 2k17.

When you double tap circle on ps5 to try and do a stronger screen it does a fancy pass. Can you speak on this?
Oh make sure you don’t have the ball in hand when doing it. They both have the same inputs (fancy pass and strong screen) just one has the ball and other doesn’t!
How are you trying to set a screen with the ball...?

I don't get it. If you're playing play now you have the ball in your hand when you call for a screen, and double tapping circle will do a pass. I'm confused even by your explanation to the guy above me

Im mad late but how on earth do you pull this move off ive been trying in 2ku but only got it once. 3:07-3:11 I can get the first step back animation fine but canceling into the other is hard.
CPU d, backdoor cuts and greed killed the game…horrible gameplay too. Just give it up and wait til GTA drops
GTA 6 is gonna be lit! But the backdoor cuts have been nerfed, offball AI defense in MyTeam is cracked though!

I can’t stand how 2K still gimps moving 3s in HOF difficulty. You should be able to take a moving shot from the 3 pt line with curry and not miss 99% of the open shots. They still don’t know how to make HOF feel realistic. The mode is brain dead easy if you know how to cheese the CPU and you’ll never lose a game. Play realistically and you miss every shot albeit they brought back the mid range which I like.
People still don't know the tap tap, dribble and shoot skill yet...it's a skill to master tapping the left stick and not hold so much
Aggressive screen always gets me a turnover in rec, I have gold brick wall maybe thats why

I kept on tapping O Chef but player keeps passing the Ball to the screener. Dont know what im doing wrong. I wait for the defender to approach the screener then i double tap O quickly.

Would love to see a video showcasing the Shammgod. This is the 1st 2K my character doesn't do it, but I realized it's because it's tied to certain Hesitation packages. I know Pro has it, but I'm hoping there are other options too. Kobe certainly doesn't have it

PlayNow online has the potential to be one of the most competitive game modes in console gaming. The 5v5 gameplay is most realistic sports simulator on the market when used the right way. 2k hasn’t touched the mode in almost 10 years. Same exact menus and everything.
Congress needs to pass a bill that doesn’t let companies charge $70 for a game that is half-finished on release day and full of pay-to-play cheese. The game should be free to play if they’re gonna pull that shit.

Any tips to doing the step back cancel without the shot meter on? I am struggling with this
Mostly just a feel thing, different stepback jumpers have different cancel windows. So you want to look out for the animation where you pick the ball up, and just cancel out of it right at that time!

Admittedly some of these fall under the really advanced moves. Takes some time to learn, but it’s up to you to see if it’s worth it!
@@KevinCruz016after a while of trying to play realistic it feels like i’m doing the same few combos and stepbacks repeatedly so these will definitely open my bag up any tips on keeping the defense guessing with combos instead of resorting to the more effective ones
