    Burberry doesn't make anything specifically for outlets. It's all new old stock and overstock. That's why some of those items have the old tags, it's just from 2018 and earlier, before Tisci.

    • @thehoxtontrend
      @thehoxtontrend  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Why would they still keep older stock from
      2018 and still have consistent supply? That really does not make sense. Burberry actually get rid of over supply stock to keep the value up. I’m more of the notion that the old label is still kept in production and fed to the many outlets across the Uk and Europe to bluster the stock offering, many people do not pay attention to the labels plus it is far more profitable than selling supposed old stock that has apparently been kept since 2018 and never runs out ?

      @lgm9324 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@thehoxtontrend The older items (Christopher Bailey's collections) are still in high demand, but they were also produced at a far higher volume than Tisci's. Keep in mind that Ricardo Tisci released far less pieces and only stayed with Burberry 4 years, while Bailey put out popular basics season after season for more than a decade. Also, Burberry doesn't destroy its older products as many brands have been caught doing.

    $1000 for a coat is ok if it’s like crazy technology like gortex/ sealed zippers/ sewn elastics/ tech insulation or whatever. Like quality fabrics and construction. But $1000 for these? You can get equal or better quality at winners/marshals for $50. Coats, shoes. This is one of the bigger scam brands. They know if they put stuff in winners for cost people wouldn’t pay their regular prices, so they usually destroy unsold extra stuff. Hella whack.
