I wouldn’t boo the baby-but definitely the parents. At that rate-Oliver could have done the race too.
Truth
I think the rules are if crawling is the primary form of movement but that kid very clearly isn’t a crawling baby. I’d say it more for like if they can only take 5 steps then plop down and crawl they’re a crawling baby. That kid got up and ran so no he’s not a crawling baby

I love that Jenn has been keeping in their “adult” jokes and innuendos lately. kids won’t understand but I definitely makes the adults laugh! I cracked up when tim was winking about having the room to themselves 😂

I heard that kid has Benjamin Button disease and is actually an 84 years old adult. The Olympic committee has been stonewalling that family for years and this is actually one of the few qualifying baby races that doesn’t check IDs..
So the part about living on a ship. This is actually something i have done in 2022. It was not for a whole year but it was for 145 days while I sailed the Disney Magic to Europe from Miami did the entire Europe season and then did the return cruise to NYC. So again total of 145 days 17 cruises back to back. Yes. I had the same room the whole way. I would be happy to answer your questions about being on the ship so long.

I read a comment that the mom of that baby said they asked the cast member if her child could enter since they just started walking. She was told as long as the child crawled all the way and did not stand up to walk it was okay to enter in the race. I read this twice. I don't like that they could but the parents asked and were told yes.
But did the parents explain that the baby was able to basically run? Because I’d imagine they left that info out if they told the cast member that the baby only JUST started walking, you know what I mean?

12:12 I worked on a cruise ship, many moons ago, there was a couple that lived on one of our ships months at a time. Their cabin was the presidential suite every cruise. They stored their belongings onboard when they went home for a month, then would reboard for many months at a time. That ship did the World Cruise. So they didn't have to disembark and embark often. But, when the ship started to do shorter cruising, the ship gave them a Laminex (Crew member ID), so they were pre screened and didn't have to keep disembarking and embarking or go through immigration every week.
There are many people who retire to cruise ships because they have all the amenities you'd want in a retirement at a lower cost. (That was pre-pandemic days, don't know if it's still the same now.)

I have really enjoyed this cruise series, so I was thinking about your first Disney cruise. I went back and found the 2015 magic cruise. What fun rewatching your first Disney cruise. The first trip on castaway cay. A fantastic vlog with a great tour of the island- by bike - really great vlog - all the places to sit and the snorkeling footage perfect. The reflection vlog - you all did not like the food- seems like Disney cruise stepped it up with the food. Great vlogs from 2015 and enjoyable new cruise vlogs.
I just want to say I love the cruise videos. I always look forward to when you guys always in days when you guys announce you guys have a cruise coming up. I look forward to those videos of my favorite videos to watch. Also, just have to imagine if you didn’t check the doors and left all the clothes there.

We just got off The Wonder on Monday & the same thing happened during the diaper dash, but that little guy stood up 10 seconds into the race & ran then rest of the way. It was hilarious & u can tell the crew members deal with this happening all the time because he had some zingers afterward. All in good fun, of course

I love all things Disney but have never really felt the need to do the cruises as my family and I are more into regular cruise lines but every time you guys show the food I just want to try everything!!!

Great Stirrup Cay (Norwegian's private island) is on the left and Coco Cay (Royal Caribbean) is on the right. Ships have to anchor and passengers have to tender at Great Stirrup Cay. That's definitely an Oasis class ship docked at Coco Cay. My kids tease me for being a total cruise ship nerd. I can identify cruise ships from a long ways away! We love Jack Jack's Diaper Dash and never miss it on our Disney cruises!

I think you’ll find that if you do a yr long cruise , you can keep the same room for the duration, no need to disembark unless you want to at each port of call !

Booing the parents for being dishonest. They took an opportunity for another baby to win. So that baby was too old to enter. That was cheating it’s not the babies fault but it says a lot about the parents.

I wouldn't boo but it definitely took away from the fun to have the winner stand up and walk. I'm just surprised he didn't get up and walk earlier. Even if it's true they asked permission to enter him, it's not fair. The employee probably didn't want to say no but they shouldn't have asked.

They were definitely booing the parents. If you watch closely at 4:49 the kid tries to run away and the father grabs him and sits him down. He definitely tried to hide the fact that he could walk. 😬
It would be so cool to go on the next trip with you guys but myself and husband live in Illinois.
Pro tip: If you don’t have to disembark early don’t. We always go to Cabanas for breakfast on our own time and then get off afterwards. There is hardly a line to get off and no chaos disembarking.

It's very possible that you were seeing both Norwegian ships and Royal Caribbean- Great Stirrup Cay (Norwegian's island) and Coco Cay (Royal's) are side by side. There's really only a few hundred feet between them at certain places.
Hi Tim & Jen, thanks for sharing your vacation with us. When you make your video on Lookout Cay can you include best beach location to grab chairs for a family with kids 7-14? Is the beach best all the way at the end in the direction of the lighthouse?
