Great video. all the Interland subbies brings back memories, I worked for them for a few years driving Jimmy McMordies lorries and then a few more years with my own trucks, a 112 Scania CDZ 8605 and 2 143 Scanias IDZ1885 and F154EAO it would be amazing if some of them turned up in one of your videos. The F16 with the Interland fridge was a lad from Maralin called Wilfey Flanagan, there was another F16 pulling for Interland, it was a left hooker and belonged to Isac Cardwell who did mostly continental work, I did mostly bacon and beef deliveries in and around London, 20 or 25 drops, start off in Smithfield Market on sunday night and then all over the city, no sat navs or mobile phones in those days, it was just you and a dog eared A to Z and 20 Regal king size. That sorted the men from the boys.
Hi, thanks for watching, we have a pic of IDZ1885 white Scania with Cameron on deflector pulling an Interland fridge as you say, we'll try and include that in next Scania vid, couldn't find the other 2 yet, but still looking. I did Smithfield on the Sunday nights as well, paid the forklift fella a £10 and he took care of it, had a bacon roll in the cafe opposite and came back to signed notes, I'm sure it was the same with you, he must have made some ££ cheers for watching
@@enterkinmedia That would be amazing, I kick myself now that I didnt take more photos back in those days but there werent any camera phones back then, yeah the 2 lads in Smithfield were John and Davy Adams and they were like a 2 man union, no tenner no tipping and the wee cafe was the Dallas cafe, the bacon rolls were good but the tea always tasted a bit odd, I likely saw you around back in those days it was all the same faces in Smithfield on a sunday night , who did you drive for? Anyway thanks for having a look, if you can find anything it would be great, my name is Davy Cameron and I live up on the Shetland Islands now. Cheers
Liked seeing the Dukes Volvo
