This just randomly dawned on me (in my adhd brain). The reason the Jacket Jacket fruit exist is because the creator of it wished they could warm someone they loved and shield them from the cold, or to protect them from outside sources, or maybe even hide them from danger.
"I want to be a jacket do she can wear me!" I see. So the creator is basically a "cultured" man lol. It does have the same energy with those who wish to be a chair so attractive women will sit on them lol
another marine that laughs is Fujitora, the admiral whose justice is most in line with Luffy's ideals and most opposed to the World Government's decisions.
I noticed that everyone who knows the truth from those old heads was shown tripping off their bad habits. Akainu was smoking like crazy even burnt his cigars, Rayleigh completely drunk and former marine chief chocking on food.
Another theory. Crocus and Rayleigh took up residence at the entrance to the Grand Line and New world to wait for, and help the next Joy Boy. That's all they can do after learning the truth.
Not to be that guy but Roger only said that in the 4kids dub in the manga sub anime and dub anime he “said my treasure you want you can have it find it I left everything this world has to offer there”
The fact that stussy drank specifically giraffe juice and now has the taste for kaku only showed me once more that odas level of foreshadowing is immaculate
I remember Kaku being the one regretful CP9 agent, not of his actions in Water 7 but of having to leave behind a lifestyle and people he enjoyed being around. Guess he found a kindred spirit. They can even work in a zoo together like Disney's Up. Damn, now I'm sad. 😞
Now that I think about it ,what if fishman island was much near the surface than now or might even be on surface .But Imu was using Uranus to rise the sea level Because we even saw old wano inside sea
My prediction is that. Joyboy was Imus husband and the picture that we saw on imus room was Imu herself. lily was probably imus and joyboys daughter. and the reason why joyboy was apologetic was maybe because he was the reason why Imu became a villain or something like that. and the reason why imu didnt cut vivis poster was maybe because vivi was the descendants of joyboy and imu herself.
Kaku being the one to tell usopp the ship was genuinely broken despite being an enemy is actually a nice example of how kaku isn’t nearly as merciless as Lucci
kingdoms got destroyed by the name of love 1) shah jahan killed entire kingdom to get married to loved one mummtaz(she is already married ) 2 ) padmavath an India movie. so your absolutely correct.
Thinking about it, Mihawk is a pirate and I don’t remember him ever laughing. Though to be fair he also has no crew, has major trust issues, is more about the sword than being a pirate, and seems pretty empty inside having reached the peak above most. Also was he even a pirate if he mostly hunted marines lol
Mark my words: there’s something important about Mihawk’s place in the world that goes beyond being the World’s Greatest Swordsman. He clearly knows a lot more about the nature of the world than he lets on. The eyes have to mean something.
I don’t think Joyboy will be LIKE Luffy, I think he will be a freedom fighter, warrior of liberation yes, BUT the whole Luffy wanting to be the most free of them all gets completely ruined by being bound to being just another Joyboy. History won’t repeat itself, Luffy will be the end of the history.
I think that we will be left in huge cliffhanger as York has figured out the location of the snail and the elders will somehow manage to stop the broadcast in the last second.
Vegapunk is a scientist. It's not his place to judge which side was right or wrong, only to present what he has discovered, and let the audience judge for themselves.
@@yuntan8115 Cringe or not, it's true. It's not a historian's job to judge whether one side of a conflict was right or wrong. Only to present the facts. They don't glorify, nor do they judge, they only research, and publish what they've learned. Of course they'll always have a personal opinion on the matter, but that's not part of the research. It's all about the facts.
Kaku has always been the exception of C90/9 ... he did willingly give Zoro Robin's Key after his Defeat and after revealing his heartbreak for Iceberg, Paulie, and Water 7. ❤🦒
I think the fact all the Roger pirates have new targets on their backs gives more to the Scopper Gaban as the Man Marked by Flames. Between Crocus in a whale, Rayleigh coating ships, Roger turning himself in and Scopper holding the last poneglyph they’ve all done something to try and prepare for the end.
@@zf8496 I think she scattered them so that anyone who wants to find the truth would actually have to go on a grand adventure and have fun.... As to why she's a "D", she could have been the first, so the question should be 'what' is a D, rather than 'why'
Maybe pluton was joyboy's ship because majority of world was land so there is no reason to build a weapon in form of a ship. Like Poseidon is technically not a weapon. But joyboy's ship was so advanced, like sunny which is also an overpowered ship, that it became known as an ancient weapon
I highly doubt Sakazuki knows anything. To me his words rather meant something like an order to Vegapunk to go on and spill the beans already. He's asking Vegapunk to explain himself and his recent actions against the WG. As much as I hate the guy I don't think he would be on the side of the world nobles if he knew everything
Credit me for this in future! Only the Nefatari family can activate Uranus as such IMU was personality swapped into Lily to control Uranus meaning if all the Nefatari are eliminated then only IMU can command Uranus.
Lili being in Imu's body doesn't make sense because why would they question Cobra about the whole Poneglyph debacle if it was her the entire time and on top of that assassinating him.
Hear me out on a few points: 1. The mother flame is something that's conjured by the original sun god nika, that's why luffy can conjure flames with his attacks. 2. The Ancient Weapons where not originally weapons, but modified life boats, originally, that's why joyboy wants everyone to have it, to freely traverse the entire world no matter where you are. Safely travel the sea with control of Poseidon, traverse the seas from land using pluton and even go to skypiea using uranus(if its not a laser weapon but like enel's boat thingy). Having fueled by the mother flame. And the 20 kingdoms made them as weapons. 3. With the world flooding luffy and gang will drain the waters of the world to see the original status of the Void Century.
@@7Swsh well considering his powers we cant actually tell considering he did the same thing with electricity, there is actually a possibility that he is conjuring flames because he himself thinks hes going fast enough to conjure them
@@ALoser-ThisIsTotallyUnique no it’s physics and rubber properties he cannot create fire his fruit gives him them ability to do that just like luffy manipulating lightning his fruit I just built for stuff like that
@@7Swsh his fruit quite literally (in its awakened form) allows him to do whatever he wants, abilities in previous forms that make no sense whatsoever are manifestaitons of that. Put simply his ability to use electricity or fire are due to his fruit allowing luffy's imagination to bleed into reality him being able to conjure fire is merely a matter of luffy trying to do it and believing he can (in gear 5 at least)
@@ALoser-ThisIsTotallyUnique no it doesn’t he can’t manipulate gravity, he can’t change into a difference person or use different powers, he can’t use the elements he is literally bugs bunny/pop eyes and they could not do all that
The few times we've seen the roger pirates talk about what they saw at Laugh Tale they all mentioned something along the lines of "too soon" or "not ready yet", Roger planned for Ace to grow up and make the trip himself. So I think the reason for the innaction would have been "we literally wouldn't have been able to do anything but fret about what this all means until the time came for us to have to deal with it."
I agree with your assessment on Imu in that hes not possessing Lili's body but Lili is also not possessing his body but that theres 3 possibilities with Imu's infatuation with Lili 1. Theres unrequited romantic love involved between Imu and Lili 2. Imu is blood relative to Lili and is either Lili's father, brother, cousin, nephew or son 3. Lili is a mother figure to Imu 1 seems unlikely since oda went on record multiple times saying hes not good at writing romance nor does he want to although he does make some side characters hookup at times With 2 the last name difference would need to be explained so may be unlikely too 3 seems the most likely as there have been alot of mother subtext lately with the mother flames and Imu comes off like a dark sanji and sanji's mom name was sora which could mean sky or void and there could be a big mom-mother caramel parallel with Imu and Lili, Imu may be a child
I think Kaku's emphasizing with Stucy for another reason - he can very much relate to her from the time when he had to betray all his good buddies at Water 7. He seemed to be very chill about it back in the day but Kaku has a soft side, he's a friendly guy after all, so I think Stucy's betrayal just parallels with his own betrayal.
Tinfoil: imu is the national treasure of Mariejois. The conduit for the Eve Tree that bestows some kind of ability. Doffy, knowing about this power, says one can swap to become the conduit with the Ope Ope and gain access to Mother Natures(Eve Tree)'s power.
I ended up on this thought train because the celestials defeated Lunarians for access to it. based on what we know about plants In the redline, the eve tree was probably there before the wall. Redline could have even come from it.
@@Aether_GMUranus could also be a possibility. My theory was that it belonged to the lunarians and the mother flame is a similar power source to the flames on their backs. That could imply that each of the ancient weapons initially belonged to each of the ancient kingdoms allies, not exactly their weapon that they had at their disposal
@@zf8496 I did consider that option, but then how does the Ope Ope play into it? I want to stick to what we've seen it do. Unless we're thinking the eve tree has some sentience that one can body switch with or something
The reason that WG has a reward for even a small info about a lunarian's existence may be that their flame is the same a mother flame. Mother flame may be a flame that defies physics and exists without a substance/fuel needed to be burnt, the same as Lunarians' flame. So any info about a Lunarian could bring the WG closer to have an infinite amount of mother flame.
If the admirals actually know the truth behind the world government, I REALLY can't imagine Akainu letting Aokiji leave with his life though. Maybe its only at the Fleet Admiral level, but idk
Hear me out guys when Sabo returned to kama aka Queendom at Manga and informed Dragon that he saw Imu, dragon gives us the information that the first person that had the idea of 20 kingdoms form an alliance called world goverment and was the FIRST FOUNDER named is IMU NERONA. Nerona is the female name for the Roman male name Nero (the Roman King who burned the Rome) So with that being said we have the information that Imu Nerona is an actual person and that Imu Nerona is the FIRST FOUNDER of world government. So Imu Nerona is a sworn enemy to Joyboy. Also to those who read the Manga when IMU answers to King Cobra by what Imu said, anyone can realise that Imu not only hates Joyboy but also hates the famy of D, in I us words Nefertari D LILLY her first grave sin is that she was a member of the D family and her second is the creation of Ponegliffs. I think that Imu is a person, that ate a fruit similar to Luffy. Luffy when gear fifth anyone from VEGAPUNK to Bonney refer to him as Nika, so in my point of view Imu Nerona is a person that ate a devil fruit that upon its awakening gave to its user demonic powers and the name Imu. Also when IMU talks to cobra imu calls himself Mu, that means void, darkness etc. Gorosei were summoned in egghead via pentagram (satanic symbol for those of you that don't know) so Imu is the name of the awakened devil fruit similar to the Nika fruit. Gorosei have demonic abilities and took a form of literal demons (Saturn bull and spider, Nsjuro as one of the horsemen of the apocalypse etc) so Gorosei powers are either from a devil fruit or Imu posses therm like demonic possession. The person that we saw as Imu if it not a person who ate a devil fruit, then it might be possessed by Imu as demonic possession. Think about that
This just made me think of something crazy. Sugars fruit turns people into toys and makes people forget that they ever existed. I wonder if candy being defeated led to others who were forgotten completely over the years being turned back to normal with most not even realizing… or it could be bigger than that and there’s a similar more powerful fruit that changes somebody or makes them be “erased” from the face of the earth. Could lead to some crazy plot points
if my memory serves me correctly akainu was so thorough with the destruction of ohara because the government claimed that they were traitors seeking to unearth the secrets of the ancient weapons by studying the void century so maybe at some point he either went to the elder stars demanding more answers or he did some low key research of his own. or maybe he also knew about the void century from before ohara and that's why he especially didn't want any more info getting out
Imu is the child of Joyboy and Lily. Imu has a child like presence and has been an immortal child since then. One of the biggest themes we see in One Piece is parents and child dynamics. Dragon Luffy, Shanks and garland, Ace and Roger, Momo and Oden, Yamato and Kaido, Ussop and Yasopp, Sanji and Judge, most of these children werent actually raised by their father too. The children that want to be like their dad are the cases where their dad is dead(Oden and Roger)
I have my own theory We have seen pirate crews for antags having card like stuff doflamingo having ace heart spade and diamond Kaido having jack queen king joker My theory is that joyboy had 5 elders in his crew That would sun god have planets revolve around him which would also explain ancient weapons threat since it would fill up the solar system name 5 elders Uranus and Pluton(pluto) Lmk on this grandlinereview Only issue i see is with ancient robot and zunesha apologising but oda definitely has some explaining for it so we can just wait
Alabasta and Dressrosa survived the 200 meters of flooding. Now does the kingdoms float or there are ancient ruins under those kingdoms. In Wano we saw the flooded Wano but that's because of the borders.
One thing I don’t understand is this: The WG stole the Mother Flame and wasted it by using it on Lulusia. Why not use it on Laugh Tale instead? Does Imu not know where Laugh Tale is, OR is Laugh Tale something that Uranus can’t destroy? Is Laugh Tale made of the same stone as the Poneglyphs? OR what if Laugh Tale exists at the center of the One Piece world, an island that exists in an underground sea??
Maybe it's just me, but I think Sakazuki is angry could also because he doesn't know anything at all. So his take on this might be like "Hold up. The world is sinking!? Why WG didn't tell me anything about this!? Now you will tell me EVERYTHING, Vegapunk! I need to know!" Again, this might be a stretch from me. But I find it fun to try looking at things from different side of possibility like this.
I love the panel of Crocus and Laboon. Crocus's hair makes it look like Laboon has raised a fin or his tail to his mouth in shock at the revelations that Crocus has been sitting on this lore bomb the entire time.
The theory of breaking the Red Line making the world "One Piece" is pretty common, but if the whole word floods and the only thing above sea level becomes the Red Line... it's also "One Piece".
first time commenting! i think that point about marines being very stoic vs pirates always laughing gets displayed extremely well with kuzan. dude was stoic as hell as a marine and as soon as he leaves the marines he’s getting drunk at a bar and cackling with blackbeard. (love the channel btw)
What if the Gorosei are like Vegapunks Satellites? 5 clones that each serve a different purpose to run a kingdom but still share a mind, hence how they can be telepathic
Wouldn't Cobra have said something if Imu looked like Lili? Even if he didn't know what Lili looked like specifically, she does look identical to his daughter.
The comment about Buggy taking action because he is a Roger Pirate gave me an "Aha!" moment. I was trying to figure out why Crocodile's expression looked so annoyed when we saw him, but he probably knows he has to keep following Buggy if he wants to find the answers.
I think Mihawk is the most serious pirate. I think i only saw him smile once after Zoro promised Luffy that he would eventually beat him. Since then, i can't remember him smiling.
A continuation of the 1st theory :- that imu and lili exchanged bodies and imu was actually a good person while lili was the one who betrayed everyone by taking imu's body. Cause imu is said to be the mother of nature in this world (imu-umi= sea) 🤷
I agree with you on the love triangle theory. I don't understand why theorists always jump on ideas like that (like when they were convinved that there was a romantic history between big mom and kaido or when they say that joy boy and poseidon had to be a couple) because it's so far away from everything one piece was about so far
I suddenly had a stupid idea that Joyboy _is_ all the unique laughs depicted in One Piece. He somehow, like in Madoka, became the concept of laughter and joy. Check back later if this is a brilliant or stupid idea 🤣
I am thinking that them being too early at Laugh Tale might connect to the flooding news. Like maybe, the secret to stopping the flooding is on Laugh Tale, but it is locked behind a certain water level that the world needs to hit, which could have just happened with the destruction of Lulucia. It would also add to this subtle theme that the world government is effectively killing themselves because their actions work as motivation or accidental benefits for Luffy
I believe there’s a red herring with crocodile’s brief appearance in 1116 Vegapunk says the only people who knows the entirety of the V century and ancient weapons are the *Roger pirates* . Yet, when he talks about the ancient weapons, crocodile was seen listening in. It makes sense cuz that was his goal back in the alabasta saga, taking the ancient weapon for his own benefit(albeit barely giving af about the poneglyph). But I think Oda opened his hand and it’s flying over some heads. *Oda might’ve subtly gave us a hint that Crocodile was once a member of the ROGER PIRATES* I’m betting my bottom dollar that *crocodile* was *Scopper* hiding who he was, like a mirror of denjiro
Good thinking. It's always bugs me from the start why he/she(yes she i am 100% sure he was a woman before and love WB or WB killed someone that he loves)hate WB so much as he is no where strong enough to hurt WB even in Marine ford arc when he was already dying. So man like WB to remember a person who he defeat regularly and not kill him or injured him beyond repair in there first fight does not make any sense.
So the thing I found odd about the Sakazuki panel was the last time we saw him he seemed pretty chill, and than right after Vegapunk starts to explain that The Roger Pirates knew all of these secrets, it showed him really mad. It was almost structured as Sakazuki wasn't mad that Vegapunk was revealing the world governments secrets but he was mad that he revealed that The Roger Pirates knew all of this. I think there might still be some ground to stand on here for people that are hoping Sakazuki might rebel against the world government. I can imagine some sort of grand plan that spans all the way back to Roger that involves Sakazuki and large portions of the marines as well as the former Roger pirates. That's why people like Sakazuki, Garp, Kizaru and Sengoku stay in their place and don't try to fight back. Because they're all biding their time waiting for the same thing.
Sakazuki is a radical that blew up a ship full of civilians at Ohara. There is no turn coming for him. He's on the side of the Celestial Dragons which makes him swine. Garp stays to be actual justice in a system of corruption. kizaru proved himself to be a tool on egghead. And sengoku the jury's still out. But i don't give him a pass for the underhanded bs he pulled at marineford. He has no honor.
I like the love triangle idea because love makes you do crazy things. Another idea could be VIVI is JoyBoy's brother and once IMU found out they saw that as a betrayal because he could just sees VIVI as using them. VIVI could be IMU's sister and that's why he's so obsessed with her because she is the only family he ever knew.
What if, once the world knows Luffy is JoyBoy, the pirates will naturally ally with Luffy against the WG? (After he's done defeating BB, and becoming the PK)
Here's a fun theory What if the ancient weapons were distributed evenly among sea, land and air as you suggested however the reason was similar to the real world atomic bomb deterrent. If they all have the means to destroy each other then there will be no war among them. However the 20 kingdoms manage to ally 2 of the ancient weapons against one which lead to the ancient kingdom being destroyed. The theory goes Lily was in charge of one of the reasons say Pluton and JoyBoy and his people had Poseidon and when it seemed like all was lost JoyBoy/Poseidon flooded the world as a means to render the final battle in a stalemate and Lily of course realized she was on the wrong side and entrusted Pluton to Wano and left the world government until JoyBoy would return. Something like that seems possible given the information we've gotten so far.
It’s clear Akainu knows from the shaded eyes he has from a previous chapter (1115?). You’ll see that a reaction shot from Aokiji shows the exact same reaction, implying he is aware, as well
don't forget even during enies lobby Kaku had serious regret for what he did to the other Shipwrights, i think Lucci aside all the other Agents had more emotion, but Kaku specifically seemed to have genuine empathy for other people he was just perfectly willing to move beyond it for his job.
@@jesusbravo5571 true but Marco can fly. I know it’s not a perfect theory but I really think there is something there. They are 2 of the strongest crews of all time and 2 crews that knew about the flood and could predict an oncoming one. I know overall haki is meant to be more important but having a seriously good devil fruit could be really helpful.
@GrandLineReview I think that part of the reason Kaku was sad for stussi is bc he understood her. Her betraying cp0 is no different than what they(cp9) did back in water 7/ennies lobby, and when Zoro told kaku that paulie said they were fired, kaku was sad to hear it. So I think kaku knows exactly what stussi is going through
Yeah, I've kinda had a theory in the back of my head ever since Dress Rosa that I've never expressed, and that theory is that the Perpetual Youth Surgery (not sure if I'm remembering the name properly) is actually body swap technique using the Op Op no Mi, but results in both people becoming ageless. This would make a lot of sense if Doffy had really always intended for Rosinante to eat the fruit, because it would make both of them ageless beings since Rosinante was clearly still very important despite their time apart, and would allow Doffy to technically not taint himself by living in the body of a normal human. It wouldn't even retroactively change how the surgery was said to work, because you'd still have the fruit user "trading their lives" for the person they're using the surgery on, it just wouldn't be in the way we thought before. I dunno, it's just an idea that's been kicking around in my head since the Doffy and Law backstory that I thought was cool.
Biggest issue with your theory is you dont understand the ope ope fruit once The eternal youth thing is used the user of the fruit exchanges their life source/die in the process so no doffy didnt even think of using rosinante like that since for a long time HE HAD A DEVIL FRUIT! The nagi nagi which helped him spy for however long hes been a marine double agent ,no they dont exchange lifes like you thought one dies for the other to live forever they explicitly explained this
If the "trading their lives" wordplay works in japanese too, then this might be really plausible. Although, that would also mean that the whole half of the SH crew that got bodyswapped is now immortal.
@@doubl2480 Well, given some of what we've seen the SH crew go through since Punk Hazard, that would not surprise me. But if this is how the immortality surgery works, I think it would be something more like "eternal youth" more than eternal life. You could still die, but you wouldn't grow old, and possibly not sick either. Or Oda could say that the SH crew is no longer immortal as that was cancelled out when their souls/hearts returned to their original bodies. Perhaps because the souls being in bodies that don't belong to them could be the explanation for how the immortality works. Like, a soul can't be forced to evacuate the body via fatal injury if it's not the body that belongs to that soul originally because the two are permanently linked. Kind of how Moria's DF establishes a link between a body and it's shadow, because if the person whose shadow was used to create a zombie died, their shadow disappears too.
I think I figured out what the one piece is. We know that the sea level rises by a meter when the ancient weapon is used. We also know that whatever the Rodger pirates found on laugh tale made them laugh. I think the one piece is a giant sponge and I’m not joking, I think it’s a very oda thing to do and it works with the cartoony aspect of gear 5. The only thing that doesn’t fit is that Rodger said he was too early, this could be that the sea level isn’t high enough yet, or that luffy’s devil fruit is needed to use the sponge.
I don't think this will be the case given that a sponge big enough to absorb 200 meters of water worldwide would be too big to hide, but if it is I'll be sure to tell everyone I know that you got it right.
@@jestermon101 I didn’t think of that, that is a good point but maybe with gear 5 powers it could work but that’s me just trying to make it make sense 😂
What I read from the Roger pirates not doing anything about the world sinking was because what they saw at laughtale was not Joyboy telling them the world is gonna sink, but Joyboy saying to them "the world isn't gonna sink because of ___" (not sure exactly why yet obviously) and the roger pirates doing nothing about it is because they know it's all gonna be ok. Vegapunk might have gotten information about the world sinking, but not how it's gonna be saved yet.
I think it would be more dramatic if sakazuki didn't know any of the history and this revelation spits in the face of his sense of justice. So sakazuki starts making moves to bring down imu, making him an ally. But he is still the man who killed ace. This extra level of tension would make the finale more dramatic when Luffy and sakazuki eventually cross paths again
Anyone else find it odd that York was able to cut off her memory sync for at least 2 weeks without ANY of the other Vegapunks immediately becoming sus of her?
It is odd, but as I understand it's basically a case of complacency. They didn't think York was doing anything important and regarded her as rather lazy. Her job was to perform all of the bodily functions like eating, sleeping, and pooping on behalf of all the Vegapunks.
Hmmm…..I think vegapunk is just frustrated at roger pirates, as a scientist and as a ohara’s archaeologist’s friend. Since, they were killed just for researching the ancient history. Roger pirates are out there still kicking. I can see how that could be frustrating to a person. However, I don’t think Roger pirates are at fault. They did everything they could I reckon. I know we haven’t really learned more but one piece is probably something that depends on the idea and belief of the person. That’s why roger, believing he is not well enough, he decided not to let everyone know everything. Instead, wanted the world to find it for itself. So now, vegapunk is doing exactly what roger did. Just not in the same way. He doesn’t know the whole history, but being a scientist, he wants to share his knowledge. Joyboy probably didn’t want to be known as a hero like luffy.
The only thing im certain of now that i dont think is going to get switched up is the location of the OP. It’s definitely underwater, sounds dumb that it took so long to really narrow it down, but im absolutely certain now. You may have figured it out sooner but im just now getting fully sold on the idea
ive seen a theory about the iron giant it wakes up when joyboy is there so joyboy was frozen like oars and died 200 years ago explaining the straw hat in marygeoise iron giant woke up to kill joy boy so the fruit can get reincarnated and a new joyboy to appear which is why the iron giant was apologising to joyboy when it woke up again
I just want to know how this all connects to enel findings in the moon, where there are paintings of all 3 ancient weapons. Did the original skypieans fled to the moon to avoid the conflict, and return when the war had ended? To see the lunarians defeated with their key weapon stolen, the fishman going as slaves and both other key weapons hidden ?

My prediction is that. Joyboy was Imus husband and the picture that we saw on imus room was Imu herself. lily was probably imus and joyboys daughter. and the reason why joyboy was apologetic was maybe because he was the reason why Imu became a villain or something like that. and the reason why imu didnt cut vivis poster was maybe because vivi was the descendants of joyboy and imu herself.
Kaku being the one to tell usopp the ship was genuinely broken despite being an enemy is actually a nice example of how kaku isn’t nearly as merciless as Lucci

She was undercover…
So, joyboy probably met lily in similar fashion, she was undercover working for Imu 6:30
It makes sense that Shanks and his crew don’t have devil fruits at all. Oda’s foreshadowing is amazing.
Hear me out on a few points:
Luffy can’t conjure flames it’s the speed/velocity of rubber and his haki to create that

I agree with your assessment on Imu in that hes not possessing Lili's body but Lili is also not possessing his body but that theres 3 possibilities with Imu's infatuation with Lili
1. Theres unrequited romantic love involved between Imu and Lili
2. Imu is blood relative to Lili and is either Lili's father, brother, cousin, nephew or son
3. Lili is a mother figure to Imu
1 seems unlikely since oda went on record multiple times saying hes not good at writing romance nor does he want to although he does make some side characters hookup at times
With 2 the last name difference would need to be explained so may be unlikely too
3 seems the most likely as there have been alot of mother subtext lately with the mother flames and Imu comes off like a dark sanji and sanji's mom name was sora which could mean sky or void and there could be a big mom-mother caramel parallel with Imu and Lili, Imu may be a child
I love the tone of your voice. You aren't talking to me like I'm an idiot
You missed the marine laugh with arguably the most impact. Give me your best "Dereshishishishishi"
I wonder if all 3 weapons are alive. Uranus could be a dragon in the sky that uses hyper beam when fed the mother flame.
so that's why momo changed his opinion about "opening wano" after reading his father's notes
Not imu in particular but the tree itself is the treasure! And I think it produces the devil fruits but also might give some kind of other powers too!
If there is a love triangle, then oda has been cooking it up since chapter 1.
Its started in Romance Dawn
The reason that WG has a reward for even a small info about a lunarian's existence may be that their flame is the same a mother flame. Mother flame may be a flame that defies physics and exists without a substance/fuel needed to be burnt, the same as Lunarians' flame. So any info about a Lunarian could bring the WG closer to have an infinite amount of mother flame.
Roger's pirates did actually try, Shanks stole the Hito Hito No Mi and found its user and Reyleigh trained Luffy for two whole years.
if Oden knew the truth about the ancient war and its devastation then why did he insist on releasing Pluto into the world ????
If the admirals actually know the truth behind the world government, I REALLY can't imagine Akainu letting Aokiji leave with his life though. Maybe its only at the Fleet Admiral level, but idk
Hear me out guys when Sabo returned to kama aka Queendom at Manga and informed Dragon that he saw Imu, dragon gives us the information that the first person that had the idea of 20 kingdoms form an alliance called world goverment and was the FIRST FOUNDER named is IMU NERONA. Nerona is the female name for the Roman male name Nero (the Roman King who burned the Rome)
So with that being said we have the information that Imu Nerona is an actual person and that Imu Nerona is the FIRST FOUNDER of world government. Think about that
Just adding my two cents, but I think Raileys "don't ruin the fun" is a call back to luffy stopping usopp from having him reveal the one piece!
Imu is Zoro from the future, who lost itself in time.

if my memory serves me correctly akainu was so thorough with the destruction of ohara because the government claimed that they were traitors seeking to unearth the secrets of the ancient weapons by studying the void century so maybe at some point he either went to the elder stars demanding more answers or he did some low key research of his own. or maybe he also knew about the void century from before ohara and that's why he especially didn't want any more info getting out

Imu is a lunarian
Imu is the child of Joyboy and Lily. Imu has a child like presence and has been an immortal child since then. One of the biggest themes we see in One Piece is parents and child dynamics. Dragon Luffy, Shanks and garland, Ace and Roger, Momo and Oden, Yamato and Kaido, Ussop and Yasopp, Sanji and Judge, most of these children werent actually raised by their father too. The children that want to be like their dad are the cases where their dad is dead(Oden and Roger)
I have my own theory
We have seen pirate crews for antags having card like stuff
doflamingo having ace heart spade and diamond
Kaido having jack queen king joker
My theory is that joyboy had 5 elders in his crew
That would sun god have planets revolve around him which would also explain ancient weapons threat since it would fill up the solar system name
5 elders Uranus and Pluton(pluto)

Alabasta and Dressrosa survived the 200 meters of flooding. Now does the kingdoms float or there are ancient ruins under those kingdoms. In Wano we saw the flooded Wano but that's because of the borders.
Now that you mention it, Dressrosa being surrounded by huge boulders just got more interesting.
Yep the whole border that was build to protect them from being flooded ended up flooding them lol

I need to know!"
Again, this might be a stretch from me. But I find it fun to try looking at things from different side of possibility like this.
That’s pretty much how I interpreted that panel.
Makes you think if one piece is the land, the one continent connected.

Imu might be pissed off cuz joyboy didnt let him on his crew.
First serious pirate shown was Mihawk, but I think thats more to do with him being bored that there isnt a challenge for his swordsmanship
The only thing we can say for sure about Imu is that Imu's name is Imu, probably.
Animation really takes your production quality up a notch, good stuff my man.
Personally, I think there's more to the love triangle and the war with the ancient kingdom, but Imu is for sure in love with Lily.

Scopper Gaban finally enters the story as an expert SCUBA diver.
A continuation of the 1st theory :- that imu and lili exchanged bodies and imu was actually a good person while lili was the one who betrayed everyone by taking imu's body. Cause imu is said to be the mother of nature in this world (imu-umi= sea) 🤷
That's a wild theory wow 🥵
I agree with you on the love triangle theory. I don't understand why theorists always jump on ideas like that (like when they were convinved that there was a romantic history between big mom and kaido or when they say that joy boy and poseidon had to be a couple) because it's so far away from everything one piece was about so far
I suddenly had a stupid idea that Joyboy _is_ all the unique laughs depicted in One Piece. He somehow, like in Madoka, became the concept of laughter and joy.
Check back later if this is a brilliant or stupid idea 🤣
Then it should be nika right?
I am thinking that them being too early at Laugh Tale might connect to the flooding news. Like maybe, the secret to stopping the flooding is on Laugh Tale, but it is locked behind a certain water level that the world needs to hit, which could have just happened with the destruction of Lulucia. It would also add to this subtle theme that the world government is effectively killing themselves because their actions work as motivation or accidental benefits for Luffy
I believe there’s a red herring with crocodile’s brief appearance in 1116
Vegapunk says the only people who knows the entirety of the V century and ancient weapons are the *Roger pirates* .
*Oda might’ve subtly gave us a hint that Crocodile was once a member of the ROGER PIRATES*
I’m betting my bottom dollar that *crocodile* was *Scopper* hiding who he was, like a mirror of denjiro
maybe that's why crocodile had grudge with whitebeard
or maybe he is a clone of Scopper??
but many theories say that scopper Gaban at lodestone 🤔🤔
Let’s also take into effect with time.
Crocodile is currently pushing 40s; so if the shoe fits, during rogers era, crocodile would be in his 20s
Here is crazy theory 'imu is the Joy boy and the ancient kingdom was just like world government '
You rock brother! We need you at the reverie. Your analysis are always meticulous and spot on.
What if, once the world knows Luffy is JoyBoy, the pirates will naturally ally with Luffy against the WG? (After he's done defeating BB, and becoming the PK)
I interpreted rayleigh drinking as a cope. He trusted his captains vision and bared the forbidden knowledge for everyone

Here's a fun theory
What if the ancient weapons were distributed evenly among sea, land and air as you suggested however the reason was similar to the real world atomic bomb deterrent.
Shanks also knew the world would flood thats why he doesnt have any DF users

Could it be that Gol D. Roger started the great pirate era to get a bunch of pirates (independent) ships so the common folks survive?
don't forget even during enies lobby Kaku had serious regret for what he did to the other Shipwrights, i think Lucci aside all the other Agents had more emotion, but Kaku specifically seemed to have genuine empathy for other people he was just perfectly willing to move beyond it for his job.
So is this why Roger and Shanks’ crews don’t have devil fruits. Cos if they did they would die way more easily with a massive flood
Is not confirmed that they dont have fruits. We barely know anything about shanks and roger crew beside the main ones.
also shanks has asked marco to join his crew
Shanks maybe, but Roger wouldn't have known about the massive flood until he reached Laugh Tale, which would be WAY AFTER he formed his crew.
@@jesusbravo5571 true but Marco can fly. I know it’s not a perfect theory but I really think there is something there. @@D3monB4dger8 like the other guy said, Roger did not know until he discovered the entire history.
@GrandLineReview I think that part of the reason Kaku was sad for stussi is bc he understood her.
Maybe imus “cloak” is actually black wings, and he/she is a Lunarian. Maybe he/she built the holy land since lunarians were already on the grand line?
I think one piece is the continent that was sunk to be fair, and one piece is a tale about how it was sunken and how to get it back.
The redline is a sponge
The 🐊crocodile's laugh 😅 don't destroy it
Hmmm…..I think vegapunk is just frustrated at roger pirates, as a scientist and as a ohara’s archaeologist’s friend.
Joyboy probably didn’t want to be known as a hero like luffy.
the fact sakazuki isnt talking in question marks tells me he doesnt know anything and wants vegapunk to tell everything
Wait wait Oi Oi that's a 💥 theory right there imagine if it's real wow!
bro this theory just blown my mind 🤯🤯🤯
i wonder how many secrets that guy from cp9 that lived for a 1000 years knows about the world!
forget theories about Imu, ima let Oda cook with this
But how will u let the fandom know what category of degeneracy you favor ???
I just want to know how this all connects to enel findings in the moon, where there are paintings of all 3 ancient weapons.
Did the original skypieans fled to the moon to avoid the conflict, and return when the war had ended?
To see the lunarians defeated with their key weapon stolen, the fishman going as slaves and both other key weapons hidden ?
